**UPDATES UNTIL REAL GUIDE** In phase one, the Static Charge debuff goes on multiple people, and it drops a lightning field on the ground. This field should be used to help resist the pushback at full energy. Also in phase one, you can tank the boss in the middle of the room instead of taking toward an edge. The boss starts the first intermission at 65% instead of 70%. And then it casts a knockback that helps you get to the side platforms. In the first intermission, there are 3 Ruiners on each side, so focus one down at a time. In phase two/three, the Fulminating Charge debuff goes on multiple people, and the circle is small enough that no ranged partners are needed. (more to come) -Zax
I actually really like the layout of this video, in that it shows this top down showcase as opposed to the gameplay. Makes it easier to understand where to go for stuff
@@zealot2147 Personally I thought P1 was a bit too long and made the fight very repetitive when progging, but P2 and P3 were great. And yes, sylv was worse.
Yeah we made this during beta to give early guilds a headstart. We should have re-made this after the raid came out. We messed up there. Won't happen again. -jim
I did this for the first time tonight in LFR, and that Hurricane Wing was a killer for quite a few attempts. I was using Heroic Leap at first to stay in the platform but would eventually mistime it and miss the jump back on. Eventually someone let us know about standing in the dark cloud to avoid it. We beat her after another two tries. Though I died from something in the last phase but it was about over by then.
My guild raid group did lfr for the last two bosses which includes Raszageth. The mechanics are more involved than what was available at the time you did this video. The 'dance' for this Raszageth is really intense and not very forgiving. Looking forward to your final video review.
Raid lead told the group to follow this video. After 1 pull I was called a dumbass for tanking the boss to the edge and then was told that this video is wrong. 10/10 would recommend. (Please delete this and update it.)
Depending on how often it is cast it might be a total joke to some tanks. A prot warrior can stack a 90% DR with short cooldowns if correctly talented, and if they let the beam be spell blocked then it will do literally nothing.
If the boss actually stays like this, it'll be an amazing end to the raid. Too many people will probably bitch though, and cause the boss to be a pig tank, and spank. So love it while you can. =)
Honestly this fight would be ridiculously easy if it wasnt for the massive amount of unavoidable damage healers have to deal with. VERY easy mechanics, everything is so easy to dodge, so easy to know whats going to happen
What happens if on the first intermission only one platform is cleared? Like, all the raid clears only a platform (instead of splitting into two) and come back to the main platform. I can't find a penalty listed on the journal, and we don't go to the lateral platforms again on the fight

Massacre was a great mechanic and wasn't too annoying. SD is one of the best raid bosses, great personality, fun fight, smug goth daddy energy.

So basically prot paladins are gods on this fight. I can interrupt every ad at once and take 0 damage in the final phase. Nice

Depends on how they spawn and if they can be moved/gripped. That would be really sick though, so we'll keep an eye out for that!
