Great to highlight this. I’ve collected the LFR set on 8 different classes now. You can then upgrade to Normal sets with crests from the weekly Last Hurrah quests. I’m using Echoes event now as an extra chance to get Champion gear each week to turn into HC tier sets. All this without going anywhere near the actual raids.
That's a great idea! There would be another way to do the same on champion gear but sadly it has been bugged for months at this point. The Awakened Equipment Chests from the Mythic+ Keystone lady drops champion items and I wanted to include that in this video but the bug is that it's only giving weapons and Blizzard probably won't fix it anymore.

There is no such easy was as turning pre-patch into tier. The M+ Key panda lady does sell champion gear for flightstones but last 2 weeks ago when I checked those were still bugged and gave only weapons.. but either upgrading champion gear or doing HC raids/M+ keys that drop hero level items.
Not gonna lie I completely forgot about that since the warband system launched hahaha :D But yeah mailing or transferring the memories are both good options!
I'm not sure about the specifics, but hoping through alts doing this, some had previous seasonal gear that was able to be converted for free. No catalyst listed or consumed. I wasn't paying attention to/remember what most of the gear was, but my most recent was on a warlock with a season 3 belt(Amirdrassil) that converted to the warlock's Aberrus(season 2/4) appearance. So hang onto old gear when you check the catalyst, you might get some freebies. EDIT: Found a couple pieces of season 3 gear on a hunter. This time though they converted to a normal and a heroic Amirdrassil appearance, which matches with their upgrade tracks. No idea why they didn't convert to Incarnate gear(season 1/4) like the warlock though(unless I ran Aberrus lfr during season 3(but then why would it be labeled season 3?)). So I guess good luck on the converts, hope you get the season 4 appearance to save on the pre-patch currency.
Can you do this if you've already equipped the items? I have full sets of the Radiant Echoes gear on four different classes, and I've already equipped them.
btw, you don't need to be level 70 to catalyze armor. If you have a toon on remix and you want the lfr appearances for it, you can create a lv10 allied race and unlock them with the catalyst

Yes it was within the first couple hotfixes they did for the pre-patch. Since they changed the event to be repeatable for 1 hour in each zone, the pre-patch has been much more enjoyable.

Thanks! Yes it actually turns into the LFR item. The pre-patch gear if it drops from the event has a chance to have a socket or one of the tertiary stats (leech, speed, avoidance) those will also stay on the LFR version of the item.

The Dragonflight charges will go away when the War Within season starts but you won't need them to transform DF gear anymore, you can just do it, however getting the gear for it is going to be the real problem because the pre-patch is over these is no easy way to get the veteran Dragonflight gear anymore. If you did the pre-patch at all the vendor is still there in Dalaran but there is no way to earn the currency for it anymore. Since everyone is playing War Within it will be quite challenging to get any kind of Dragonflight content done to earn gear. I think Dragonflight world content might be still dropping veteran gear but it will be completely RNG what items you get.
On my DK I got the Amirdrassil item set. But on my priest I got the Aberrus set. Both Dalaran gear were 480 ilvl. How does it decide which item set I get?
I did talk about this in the video but basically since there was no new raid introduced for S4, Blizzard asked players to vote for their favorite Tier Set bonus and appearance from previous Dragonflight seasons, and the winners of those votes are the current tier sets.

Thank you! I sadly can't think of any other way than taking a less geared toon. Some of the Season 4 Tier sets are from Aberrus like Rogue, Priest, Paladin but I assume you are looking to just collect anything from that raid in general then it's going to be difficult right now. If you have no more use for Bullions you could buy the weapon appearances from Aberrus (or any DF raids) RF/Normal/HC/Myth for 1 bullion each (the vendor for it is to the right from the Vault Bullion vendor next to the bookcase)
That is a good question, in theory yes since it is account-wide but nobody knows for sure yet. We will all find out together once our characters are released from Remix prison.
Mine stopped completely working as of yesterday as well :( I just usually update mine from the Curse Forge Client but they update this addon only once or twice per expansion so fingers crossed they will update it soon! Been using it for years

I'm not sure if this system will continue in the War Within but I assume it does, usually at a start of a new season you will get a charge every 2 weeks and it will only work with War Within lvl 80 gear to help you get your 2 and 4-set bonuses fast.

do you know if you can get heroic? if you boost it even higher than 493?
@@Phaseish You can't unfortunately, no. Veteran upgrade track caps out at 502 and an item needs to reach 506 to unlock heroic appearances.

you can transferr the warbound stuff in the mail to your alts too if you want to avoid the 3 hour timer

If you buy the pieces for another character, you can mail them to the others, no need to put it in the wbank

Aren’t charges account wide? Meaning if you spend your charges on one toons set, you’re pretty much done, yeah?
No! Each character has their own charges, passively gaining them each week is the account-wide part :)
