Andrew Walker storm crow died in the time between the last time it blocked and the last six turns, bit part has been cut out like they said
The real missed gag is they didn't bolt the bird.
That’s a green red thing, not a blue red thing. Bolt the bird refers originally to playing lightning bolt targeting birds of paridise because both cards are op af, but now it can mean playing a burn spell on a mana dork
I think trident042 knows, he just meant it'd be a fun reference for veterans, especially since there's not a particular need to bolt the mighty storm crow.

I forgot standard, legacy, and vintage are the only formats in the game. There's no other ones. Just those three. There's no other format in which storm crow is legal. Thanks for reminding me.
Of all the officially sanctioned formats, the only ones which arent eternal are standard and brawl, which dont have storm crow :)

What came first the Divination Spell or the Pot of Greed ?
Felix Dumbravescu Pot of greed by several years. But Ancestral Recall came before Yugioh even existed, and draws you or your opponent (your choice) 3 cards for 1 mana, while divination draws 2 for 3 mana. Pot of greed is still insanely powerful though because it has no cost.

yup…..that's pretty much how a lot of blue deck players use their cards, just deflecting spell cards and drawing more, slow boring and annoying as hell. But mix it with a red deck and its slow boring and effective.
Aa someone playing EDH that shuffling bit really hits home. For you guys playing regular, try shuffling a 100 card deck without using the table.
Thought this was neat, but primarily this made me want a MTG show like this (aka holograms like in the Yugioh TV show). The commentators were alright, but Gerald was annoying.

Good stuff, bit of a slow pace compared to your best work though, and Gerald seemed... Extraneous. Interested to see more magic stuff though!

Divination AKA Pot of Greed.
2 divinations is 6 mana. A Shivan Dragon with fervent strike and activating firebreathing 4 times is 11 mana. The blue player definitely did not tap out.

The commentator fight aspect was cringe and frustrating to watch, your usual style with a single commentator is much better. Aside of that, not a bad take on Magic. Going forward I would recommend a little more info on what is going on, I don't know what the different colors specialize in or common decks at all
