I don’t know why but playing grounded just feels better than most survival games, it has this charming little world but it’s somehow huge, and the combat feels so good whenever you have this build or however you please, and each time I see videos like these it makes me want to replay it over and over!
Make red ant armor to get into the hill undetected. There is always one egg but sometimes there’s a bunch as soon as you walk in. I didn’t see anyone reference this so I hope it helps
Definitely one of my all time favorites, so for you to do any kind of special 100 days on the game -- or really a kind a series would be nice too -- i would watch every second of it multiple times
As a grounded veteran, I am both glad to see more people play it, and also HORRIFIED (affectionate) by your cursed progression and choices. for example: - crafting new armor instead of repairing it - manually crafting berry leather instead of drying it for better efficiency - not purchasing cooking 101 at the start - going through the haze and sandbox before doing the hedge lab - not doing the hedge lab first - not using the shovel to get to the table - not grabbing the upgrade nuggets inside the maze chest - using the haze bio scanner before destroying the explosive fungus literally right next to it - built AROUND the breakable rock blocking off the upper yard - not maxing out max mutations asap - unlocking the oven AFTER unlocking the things that need it - not upgrading any weapons or armor until late into tier 3 - never(?) buying the canteen upgrade and fiber bandage efficiency - not unlocking the resource scanner until most of the map was already mapped - not making a jerky rack until pupa leather - SOMEHOW have the floor at the TOP of your tower support the entire tower below it??? - never getting the coaltana - doing the pond lab, the closest lab to the oak tree, last - only crafting a single beefy smoothie, three sticky smoothies, eight bandages and two Healbasas, then fighting the brood mother and finally, the most egregious of all.. - not peeping a single creature until day 80, leaving the starter quest there to haunt me during the video. I don't even know if you ever actually peeped a bug, or if you just unpinned the quest. Of course, you are new to the game, so its completely unreasonable to assume you would know the optimal choices, the non obvious mechanics, and how to maximize your efficiency on your first full playthrough. But, seeing it first hand makes my veteran mind twist in on itself, wanting to do everything "properly". still, neat to see how wildly different people can play this game and still have a grand old time. hope you get to 200 days!
I love how much effort you put into this comment. But yeah I'm having a great time playing this game and I love seeing people giving me tips. Looking back, I agree that I should have done the hedge lab much sooner and re-paired my armor instead of crafting it again. I am now recording the 200 days and trying to peep as many bugs as I can (yes you were right I did not peep a single bug until day 80🤣) In conclusion I agree that this was a completely cursed playthrough.
10:35 fun fact! i figured this out on my first woah mode playthrough, you can actually use an infected weevil as an explosive in all situations and it will infact break rocks and this perticular door leading to the haze lab. Though there is an alternate entrance in the pipe if you so prefer.
I played a custom game and the only thing I changed was the durability of the equipment where it never gets damaged. I've played grounded since the early beta and not having to worry about durability made the game so much more fun
sleeping in a real bed instead of the tent gives u 2 effects for the first half of the day. Ig its well fed and beeing less thirsty. so the bed is better. great video btw
Man, keep up the content, this video is very well done, and very entertaining, I’m only a few minutes in but I shared this to my friends and I hope you keep it coming
bro im really glad your not that type of guy to take like 5 minutes to explain what your doing and then slap a 8 minute raid shadow legends sponser as well. you are the GOAT!
you were ready to beat that lady bug, just learn to parry a bit more. I’d say you were also ready for the wolf spider during the time since insect axe and no armor should be just fine. (assuming you can parry, learning their attack patterns is very helpful and their attack patterns are simple, one of the easiest creatures to parry.)
Hey, so I've played grounded and there is a way to cheese your way into the haze lab. Now it isn't easy but it's the faster way instead of getting a bratburst. What you need is a lot of pebblets. Find and infected weevil because the explode when your too close. The grounded devs decided to have the same effect of what a bratburst does to a infected weevil. So bring a infected weevil and once he turns around and stops agro on you, throw a pebblet and it get its back to you and get it towards the door, hide in the corner of the door and hold block. Then it explodes and the door opens.
Great early cheese is setup near red ant hill. Get the red ant armor which makes red ants including soldiers recognize you as their own and you can lead any bug over to hill and they will kill it.
10 seconds and into the gameplay. I love it. Also the best and shortest description of grounded I've heard so far. "Its a survival game where you defenc yourself against bugs, craft weapons and armour to protect yourself. Lets get into the 100 days." Maybe speak a little bit slower. People who watch 100 days videos watch it to the end. You are fine to talk like half the speed. 1 hour is average for a video like this.
Tip for the wolf spiders, if you’re by the pond you can sometimes cheese the hell out of them by making them jump into the water it will instantly kill them, there is also a leaf where one of them sleep on the pond side of the oak tree you can stand on top of the leaf and shoot through the holes in the leaf and kill wolf spiders to get mithridatism
16:30 just upgrade your weapon it’s weak to salty and bashing which you have both of on your salty morning star pro tip you can kill anything if you know how to perfect block/ perry
He is speaking so fast but i like that. I live my life so fast too and he reminded myself to me. Also this is a good english training for me. Ur video is useful about every topic for me
UPDATE: Currently recording the 200 days but it might be a bit of a wait due to it being so long to record and edit.
YESSSSSSSSS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
