I'm really happy to see base building isn't just restricted to the $750 Pioneer, it looks like everyone will have a chance to build at least a small base. It's decisions like this that make me think CIG isn't as greedy as they seem, they could of massively paywalled one of the most exciting features in the game but they didn't.
They were never really greedy you can look at their Financials, out if nearly a billion dollars they barley profited a few ten million, it went to mostly the game engine, new technologies, salaries, and so forth.
Ships are their main way to finance the game, and the games scope massively expanded and changed due to backers and then chris and his overly ambitious ideals and so forth.
I like where it's going with crafting...I really was concerned it wouldn't feel good. Crafting in a lot of games (for me anyway) feels unsatisfying. I know they're not reinventing the wheel or anything here, but I like the direction so far.
In addition to tools, resources would be needed. High Quality resources for some items like FPS gear, armor, ship components, weapons will greatly improve capabilities and durability.
Sooooo Beautiful Sooooo Much Hopeum If 3.0 was out in 2017 And 4.0 may be out Dec. 2024 1.0 will be out not before 2031 Assuming development continues at the same or better pace (increasing money / funding). We will see.... 2031.... How old will we be then?
I kind a want the "with bullshit" version of this review. How do YOU like it noobifier? What are ur thoughts? Are you excited about this crafting gameplay, or anything else shown at the con?
Thanks Noob, that was one of the recaps I was waiting for. There seems to be a lot of dramatics around an NPC update from this citizencon but I don't know what it's about. Do you know what the bone of contention is? Cheers
I feel sorry for those having bought the pioneer. It will be the 3rd ship being made to build base. I think that will be.... 5-7 years from now. Bad PR and walletlocking.
Not sure how you're having issues most of us are doing fine with the patch that dropped yesterday. Plus the new ptu has also been running well. Servers are still going to be messy using 4.0 base code and so forth. That's the reality of an alpha its not a game its an alpha you should probably look at what an alpha means and why they provide a ton of warnings before you launch even.
Love your no BS/fluff videos. Helps me share with friends because it seems everybody's attention span is so short these days.
This really does remind me of SWG. How I miss my little house on Dantooine.
Thank you for your no bs recaps. Now if I can just get my workplace to adopt this mentality…
I was talking to a friend who works in communications and she agreed that this is a valuable skill that not everyone has.
@@theshamanlives I work in emergency management so I appreciate her perspective. Effective communication is huge!
I'm a crafter at heart. Every MMO I would gravitate towards building things. This is very exciting for me.
Thanks for the summary Noobifier!
Last time I was this early I backed the Star Citizen Kickstarter.
I cant believe am an orginial Backer.
I built my first PC to play star citizen. That was 2 computers ago and now my hair is literally turning gray. 😅
I'm waiting for the auction house announcement
Ill settle for a tent in my hangar for now but all this looks promising.

Better than the actual presentation.

Crafting sounds good. I was hoping to have something similar to SWG, and it does sound very similar.
Cant wait to have bases, but i hope all of the various planet surfaces wont end up just being covered by player bases.
Man, this sounds familiar....
All this is nice, but all I ever want is a condo and a hangar.
hangars are ingame .. the condo .. that not so much .. but they talked about modules for your personal hangars which probably will come sooner
EVE Online mentioned?

There will be a show summary later
It would be nice if we could tunnel into asteroids and build bases there using the asteroid as additional armour.
The resource quality affecting craft quality gives me SWG vibes
It wouldn't really make sense to have resource quality and then not have it affect craft quality, would it? Also plenty of games did that before SWG.
No new land claims sales. SC seems to be rather stable financially

People wanted more info on it and there was almost nothing mentioned about it
CIG confirmed that AI blades are coming with 1.0 but NPC crew won't.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Thank you. If I got frustrated with the long game I wouldn't still be here.
@@theriamnorec Oh, I guess I'm going to have to recruit some gaming buddies by then or actually be social and try to talk to players.
Am I late for the meeting?
How can there be a “no BS” video about a Citcon presentation. BS is all CIG dishes out.
Wow, you're so edgy and cool!
@@-Devy- Not edgy and cool. Jaded and heated.
Nice, still an optimistic old timer.

Any news on PvE servers? I am old and PvP stresses me out but i love the idea of SC.
This will not likely be a thing ever. There will be patrolled space, but there will not be any way to turn off other players
Yes the news is they will never be a thing

SQ42 will be your pve server
voice sounds better
I wish they could actually create a game I could play longer than 15 minutes between 30Ks. This latest build is a freaken joke.
I think 70% will never leave the surface of one planet

for a no BS your videos have a lot of added BS in the end
You don’t need to watch any of it
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Well I put your CitizenCon stuff on a playlist and listen to it in the background, legit ruined for me.
I like when you leave a longer video at the end. I take what I need from the beginning and continue if it's interesting. 👍
