The fact that’s they had so much fun off camera yet we’re still able to get the job done by leading the midfield and getting 4th in the constructors says something about this team
I can still remember screaming my soul out when Carlos passed the Renault on the last lap of the Abu Dhabi GP to let him get P10 and that ONE point to grab P6 in the championship. My parents were pissed but I have never been happier. I was like Gasly After getting p2.

@@zackr.7628 It was a pretty funny line from Alonso. It's impossible to get into their heads though and know exactly what they were thinking at the time, but it didn't seem that awkward to me. They're both laughing at the end of the clip.

the turn around in perception of Mclaren has been amazing - from the stern, grey prim and proper methodical drones to the young rebels just wanna have fun. People will say its just down to the drivers, but to be fair it also came from senior management
