As a human being with the attention span of a ten-days-old kitten I'm surprised I made it to the end. But as a climber who is a psychologist in psychotherapy training I'm really happy I did. You speak in my language of concepts in a way I never hear in climbing society and climbing videos, and it really makes sense to me. You make my dear point of view on humanity blossom in climbing. It's rare and I'm really happy you have skills to do so. Of course you also gave me tools to work on my own climbing.
One of my unicorn level rare RUclips comments! 🦄 First of all love the podcasts in general! Especially the way you manage to create a seemingly effortless and authentic overlap between highly informative content with a vibe the that speaks to beginners and intermediate climbers. Even with more renowned guest like Steve Bechtel you manage to stay away from an overly professionalizes coaching style that lattice and other coaching outlets tend to (unintentionally) fall into etc. Balance, authenticity and knowledge merged. Either way, thanks a a lot! I would love to hear more about the topics in the final 10 minutes! Fear of failing and self sabotage. For me those are way bigger hurdles in reaching my goal or opening up the 7a-7b range in outdoor lead climbing. I am already using some tactics that seek to work but this issue seems to circle back and haunt me. If you plan on doing another episode on it and want more specific a question(s) let me know! Many thanks from southern Germany Fredrik
