Yes, that is what this kit is designed for. It's intended for reliable, usable, everyday power. The centrifugal SC means power comes on in a linear manner, rather than a big jump in power as boost hits - this is easier on the drivetrain, for one, but it's also smoother. Since the kit is what you call "CARB EXEMPT" with an EO#, it's smog legal, meaning you can still drive around in smog-nazi California without hassle from the Five Oh. The MPG is like stock when you don't have your foot in it. There's quite a few cars running these, years after the kit first came out - that oughta tell you how these do in the real world. :)
maybe just the sway bars work for this car. remember it is already the s model. if you've only got the base model it will most likely need more than sway bars.
I have a G 37 journey but if I was going to get this I think I would rather have the x model for obvious reasons. It's been my observation that x models can be found for cheaper and can lay down that kind of power better.
killerkhalsa27 because they have 4 wheel drive and lay down 400 plus hp better than their counterparts. Not really needed for Nat. aspirated engine but for power adders deffinately.
They arent 4 wheel drive. Its a rear wheel drive based awd, its rear wheel till it slips then it sends power to the front wheels till it has traction again then its back to rwd. A normal g37 is also more fun to drive than the x version and also you can get the manual although its rare id personally rather mod a manual car and more fun car. Throw some fatter wheels on the back and theres no need for the x, only reason I have the x is so I can winter drive it I love the car just wished the x models came in manual. - 09 G37x sedan owner

There are many things are not being mentioned in this video. Let’s talk about it from a mechanical perspective: 1. You are installing a supercharger for a non supercharged engine, it means the engine is not used to handle that much horsepower. 2. Since this is an aftermarket supercharger, the pistons, and cylinder heads are not reinforced and most likely you will run into problems later on. There is a strong possibility that you will break the cylinder heads, and you will shorten the life of your engine. 3. Check engine lights, this is almost s guarantee thing you will see later on. The engine diagnostic will not read things problem since it is not been programmed properly with the supercharger. My advice? Keep the car stock and maintain it properly in order to make it last.
James Thompson you have no idea of what you are talking about buddy! I’ve said the internals of this particular engine are not upgraded. You have talked about the Nissan GTR of how some of them can push more than 1000 HP. of course you can! My main point is in the long run the car will run into problems. I suggest that you read some forums and they will tell you what kind of problems you will run into.
Will it work with a Automatic or 6 speed is necessary? I will be buying a CPO G37x this year so I want to know if this can be done. Would also help if there were any Stillen Dealers in Calgary, Canada.

I will be getting a G37x 2010+ model within a week or so under 65k miles. How much will it cost roughly to alter the 7AT to be able ot handle the power of the Stillen SC? I live in Calgary, Canada and am not very mechanically inclined (slightly if anything) so i will have someone do it. Will I have to find an import tuner shop for the install?

What if I wanted to supercharge my M45
Sucks you can't get any of these kits anymore it seems. Stillen site says 5-6 waiting period. Yeah not gonna pay $7k+ and wait 6 months lol
hey what type of exhaust did you guys have on that g37s sedan? I have one but it's too quiet. I want something with a Lil more grumble but not too hi loud expecially on the highways.
The exhaust on this car is the STILLEN Cat-Back Exhaust. Has a great sound but is civil during cruising. www.stillen.com/performance/exhaust-systems/stillen-2009-2013-infiniti-g37-sedan-2015-q40-stainless-steel-cat-back-exhaust-system-504377/vehicle/2012-infiniti-g37.html
Anyone here ever installed this SC? If so how much was the whole thing + installation?
How much on a 2011 G37S sedan install out the door?
do you guys sell that license plate frame that says Stillen? on your website it's only the bracket but i only want the frame..thanks
We do not sell them. They come free with any STILLEN Product.
Ok is there one for a 2007 g35x sedan. It's the hr engine, everyone always confuses it with the de engine.
Yes, we do make one for the VQ35HR motor. Here is a link :)
www.stillen.com/performance/superchargers-turbos/stillen-2007-2008-infiniti-g35-sedan-supercharger-tuned-system-satin-407735/vehicle/2007-infiniti-g35.html
STILLEN currently only has superchargers for the HR series VQ engines. 07-08's covered my dude
Preferably would have used the 7at with AWD..
will you recommend installing in on a DD?
Definitely! We have tons of customers who daily drive their Supercharged G's and Z's.
what about on a g35 sedan sport ? i recently bought one & im trying to increase HP but dont know where to start
thuglifesincedayone go turbo kit, superchwrger is going to lroduce the type of power this one does you need twin turbo kit check out Greddy
thanks ! ill look into it
important question: you in Cali?? If you're in Cali, all STILLEN SC kits for the G35/G37/Q are CARB EXEMPT with EO#'s so you'll still pass smog.
STILLEN is there anyway I can get my g37 sedan up to M5 numbers please respond pleaseeee or anyone that knows
will it work with AWD versions of the G37 sedan and coupe ???
yes look at previous comments
Yes, it will.
yup
maybe just the sway bars work for this car. remember it is already the s model. if you've only got the base model it will most likely need more than sway bars.
Where can i get it installed, im in Florida?
I have a G 37 journey but if I was going to get this I think I would rather have the x model for obvious reasons. It's been my observation that x models can be found for cheaper and can lay down that kind of power better.
care to explain why they lay down that kind of power better?
killerkhalsa27 because they have 4 wheel drive and lay down 400 plus hp better than their counterparts.
- 09 G37x sedan owner
killerkhalsa27 I was talking about one with a supercharger. No need for an x without. With 500 hp , an x will most definitely hook up better.
killerkhalsa27. the ATESSA E -TS system can lay down power to all 4 if only briefly.
you guys need to check out @westshop they are building a complete stillen supercharger 03 sedan.
I thought they come out in 2008 there pretty much as good as nissan skyline even tho it's badge a skyline aswell
stillen I need the sway bars for my 2013 sedan. I can personally pick them up hoe much can i get them for
Hi Tony! The sway bars are $432.78 + tax. You can give us a call to arrange pick up!
STILLEN can you do them for 400 Hotchkiss and eibach are a bit less but I trust in stillen
Shoot us an email (sales@stillen.com)
Whats more reliable a G37? or a BMW 328i?
Is that a serious question? ;)
Overall reliability the G37 is arguably better in reliability.
and as far as maintenance how much$$?? more or less?
Less.
speaking from experience here I had both a BMW 328i & 528i and a G37. I can tell you that if you are looking into buying a BMW that's out of warranty you better have some deep pockets
Do you guys make one for the 07 g35 sedan?
We do make a Supercharger for a 07 G35 Sedan.
www.stillen.com/performance/superchargers-turbos/stillen-2007-2008-infiniti-g35-sedan-supercharger-tuned-system-satin-407735/vehicle/2007-infiniti-g35.html
How much to get this kit installed. I'm in your area stillen. Get at me. Thanks.
Hello! The kit starts at $6895.00 (complete tuned kit w/ Satin Blower) and installation is $1785.00.
STILLEN® Do you guys still offer this kit, tune, and installation?
looking to do some mods on my 37x sedan, what are my options?
check out the stillen gen 3 CAI and catback exhuast. I have the gen 3 CAI and I love it. If you want to stay stock exhuast, thats fine, the CAI will give the stock exhaust note a nice slight grow (that is my situation now).
I should supercharge my 35
There are many things are not being mentioned in this video. Let’s talk about it from a mechanical perspective:
I suggest that you read some forums and they will tell you what kind of problems you will run into.
lights don't look sporty tho sounds gr8 just like the 350 engine or you can get a fuga 450Gt it should have more power and it's a v8
Will it work with a Automatic or 6 speed is necessary? I will be buying a CPO G37x this year so I want to know if this can be done. Would also help if there were any Stillen Dealers in Calgary, Canada.
Faraz Shah I have a 2011 g37s sedan supercharged Automatic and it works just fine
but I put it in manuel mode to get the best of it and shit this car is fast
I use it to communte to work I get very good gas mileage too
31-35 mpg U.S but obviously is a lot lower when my foot gets heavy hahahaha it's a really fun car to drive and reliable if you keep up with maintenance
I had 2003 g35 and put 278k miles on it and sold it
the person I sold it to rebuilt the motor and the last time I talked to him has it at 298k
Will I have to find an import tuner shop for the install?
cmoreno how much did supercharger and install cost u?
Can you do this to a 08 g35s? T.I.A.
10k being the supercharger kit costs
supercharger video about sway bars ;)
Would this fix on 08 g35xs?
We have a STILLEN Supercharger for a 2008 Infiniti XS. Check out the link here: stillen.com/collections/forced-induction/Infiniti-G35-2008 If you have any more question on the STILLEN Supercharger give us a call or send us a message via our livechat.
What about the g35s sedan 07? Can these mods still be the same?
If you look at the front end, it is an 07 or 08 g35 sedan. They must have rebadged it. You can tell by the headlights. Same block, different crank and connecting rods is all. The g37 has a longer stroke but same bore as the vq35hr for in the 07/08 g35 sedan.
@@smiles564 no its a 37, look at the rims
How many miles in that car ??
IIRC about 80k.
U guys should sponsor me I have a 2012 g37x
Is there a hfc on this car?
No, it has stock Catalytic Converters.
Mark Dorman thanks
How about a 2008 g35x
Yes, it will be the same kit. www.stillen.com/performance/superchargers-turbos/stillen-2007-2008-infiniti-g35-sedan-supercharger-tuned-system-satin-407735/vehicle/2007-infiniti-g35.html
Dope man will it still add that 500 hp
Yes, the results will be very similar. Because the 3.5L makes a little less power to begin with the end result is usually ~10 hp less.
I don't know about close to 500bhp.
