There's always going to be a character we obsess about. Rukia right now is just the most popular character people are waiting for. Once she releases, we'll move on to renji, sajin eventually Bankai Shunsui, HoS Ichigo etc.
If then banner turns out not to be what Aaron predicted (Rukia, As Nodt & Byak), then i think it's gonna be Rukia, Renji and Sajin. If not, then perhaps bankai Yama from ep 6, with the red flames from north and 2 other characters. And we really shouldn't let Klab forget about the TYBW anime version of fullbring bankai Ichigo, with the black and white getsuga, hopefully with a special adapting his ep 1 getsuga.
Im not so sure seeing how rukia isnt supposed to move in her bankai but idk if bbs does things like that but I do think it would be a bankai attack along with the soul bomb
As long as Renji and Sajin are not PVP I'm happy, regardless if they aren't even in Round 2. I would rather wait for them a bit longer than them get hit with the PVP curse
Maybe that kind of stuff is some of the things they were planning for the Brave Battle changes, finally adding the "if you beat a higher stats team, youre better so youll get more points", and hopefully some mini rework on the buff-debuff scenario to avoid clear wins being loses because of RNG. Personally ive been feeling like brave battle is just farming like as other stuff, and was searching for the lowest teams i can encounter because all teams gave the same points from winning The fact that we have a lo of weeks on certain ranks that even when winning 100% of the combat and never stacking on the tickets so we are literally being as best as we can (without spending orbs on tickets), it can lead to different stuff (3rd is close to promotion, lieutenant is safe zone, and captain is demotion xD)

Persistence is only a problem for people that don't wanna invest in brave battles. Buffs and Debuffs are the REAL meta. It doesn't matter that you're Invincible for 10 seconds, if your attacks are debuffed and you're hitting for 1 damage for 15 seconds It doesn't matter if you have Persistence for 5 seconds if your hitting for 1 damage for 15 seconds. It doesn't matter that you don't have invincibility if your defense gets boosted that you're only taking chip damage for 15 seconds. This is why Yhwach and even Tsukishima are still meta relevant. Going after buffs and debuffs will move the meta.
Rukias ex skill should be a 20 second transformation which guarantees status ailments and has 200% more damage on enemies inflicted with status ailments (im coping hard)
