I think I’m in the minority here. I really like this set and I enjoyed building it. I think it looks awesome and the shaping is pretty accurate to the real car. Obviously it’s not a real RC car, but I was pleasantly surprised by the functions, they are good for indoor play. The lights are very bright, and it drives decently fast.
I am curious when the hub will be available to buy seperately. I know one youtube channel had to do a bunch of workarounds to get it to work with a XBOX controller. It was cool to use the technic hub with the brick controller app. I do hope the new hub will work with it eventually
So you can only build cars with this hub.... Is this even Lego anymore. With this kind of function consolidation into one rigid block, might as well go buy an off the shelf RC car for way less money with way nicer looks and better construction
This set is a bad joke. I would pay a maximum of 60 € for the use of the parts. LEGO is still trying to find out how dumb people can be to buy bad sets like this.

Yes, the functions are decent, but not for this price. As I mentioned, with a good sale this would be an awesome choice!

We lost so much, just to get a new battery.... not worth it

Pick the cheapest one. With the extra suspensions, I guess the e-tron a better choice.
