Hey Nikki, I've started using maple syrup in place of sugar in my coffee in the morning and it taste great with a little added twist of maple flavor. I've used maple syrup in my baked pork and beans and to bast pork ribs before barbecuing them. Being you're in the maple syrup business, do you have any secret family recipes that have maple syrup in them that you want to share? How about any warm adult cocktail recipes that call for a shot of hot maple syrup? I'm thinking about trying to make a dessert topping by melting a stick of butter in a medium size frying pan over a medium to high heat and adding about a cup of maple syrup. I'll let it boil a lot of the water out of the syrup until it thickens and then add a couple of shots of 151 rum. The alcohol would evaporate almost immediately and create a fire hazard, but it will add the rum flavor to the maple and butter without the twang of the alcohol. Let it cool down for a minute and spoon the warm mix over vanilla ice cream for a diabetic's worst nightmare!

We have some acreage that is leased to Maple operations in Pennsylvania and New York. Very glad to hear you’re strong desire promoting tree health! I also admire the amount of exercise that you get with the Maple collection and tapping operation! Good luck with your RUclips channel I see you’re growing and it’s very interesting! Today the dog and I went double our normal distance, working on getting back into shape. BTW, when I was 35 I was like you, super active with construction work, and one day unexpectedly got an ACL injury, was out of work for three months because of that! Stuff like that can happen, just a heads up.
