I always have wanted a new build really, but buying an older house was a cheaper option, so when we found out that the seller's seller pulled out, we pulled out too. We just decided that we would probably be happier with a new build since there was less work in the house to do and we didn't like being in a chain like that 😂 But when we went to tell the estate agent that we were pulling out too, he told us that our sellers are pulling out also... so couldn't have got that house even if we wanted to ahah
