1:26 Fun fact: The strongest earthquake in Mexico is on Chiapas/Oaxaca Magnitude 8.2, in my opinion. And i think that's the reason why they used the alarm
I grew up in the Bay Area and except for the biggest ones here because I haven't gone through one of those, this is pretty accurate. I like how in all these videos you got that deep roaring rumble sound that's characteristic of larger quakes.
Beautiful living room! The ceiling lights held on until the roof collapsed; that's great. But the chairs spinning around like they were dancing was amazing! I was thinking--compare and contrast similar rooms/buildings, one where no quake proofing has been done, and another where quake proofing has been done. Kind of like to inform people of the importance of securing objects around the house, like the TV on the wall. Don't know if this site is still up, but there's a game called Beat the Quake! that gives you some time to secure stuff before a quake hits; the name of the game is the same as the site name. You could check it out.
1:31 It's incredible how you managed to make a sound like Mexico's seismic alarm sound in 3D, is there a place where I can only hear that sound in 3D? I want to see if I can relive the past.

😅 Whomever put up that Television did an amazing job! It stayed onto that wall despite the earthquake or the fact of the wall falling. To whomever put that TV up needs a raise.
I still think a simulation of a So.San Andreas rupture and or a Puente Hills Fault rupture would be quite a video... Again, remember that the San Andreas would go on for two to three MINUTES!! The Puente Hills might just decimate downtown L.A. not to mention a number of cities nearby.
Hey EQS, I was hoping you had a plan for making a forest with cabins because I keep seeing that place in my dreams and it’s creepy and I wanna see if you can create a map like that
One of the best things about your video's that makes them so important this day and age is that as part of societal collapse we know we are going to experience earthquakes in many places that don't usually have them frequently enough anyways to practically prepare for them as places that get them regularly, and this method of showing different levels of quakes in every circumstance, really can help us identify "what just happened" even in earthquake familiar cultures when the government lies stays silent or whatever it can be a big problem their lack of response and such. As WW3 continues to break down the modern world we can expect that we will be on our own for many disasters. What I hope to get from watching these is if we get quakes up in Canada where I live I want to be able to know what scale it was, this information plays into earthquake forecasting to understand how much energy has been released and how much more might be coming. At some point we wont even have the internet or RUclips or functioning electric grids. Its a great honor to witness the best of humanity on RUclips while it still lasts. This channel is helping people mentally prepare for earthquakes about as good as one can be bothered with but very essential for survival of the human race through the coming apocalypses. IT could very well be argued that its already underway. Thanks a lot for helping to prepare humanity for global earthquakes during the great turning and pole flip that is coming. Gods Gaze looks our way, its a sacred time but it also comes with dangers already being caused by HARRP and colliders while they blame the sun the source of all life. The sun will purify this evil energy by ripping the plasma conduits right out of the earth to reposition the poles. Anyways thanks a lot for your hard work and dedication to helping others understand earthquakes. For people like me, this is the only way we can gain any kind of relevant experience about earthquakes without being in them before in person. Just paying attention to whether or not tremors are getting bigger or smaller could be life or death on decision making.
I live in the Dallas area of Texas. None of our buildings are built to withstand earthquakes. However, with fracking we have started to have them, mainly in the 3.5 range, but they are getting more intense. Any simulations that can help us understand what we are dealing with?
Eureka Had a 6.8 in december and the noise i heard was unjustifiable i honestly thought it was the end, the ammount of roaring and vibrating you feel on your skin as its happening like static electricity coming from the earth and your hairs pick up on it. I wonder what it was on the scale for shakiness. because it was by far the worst one ive been through and it wasnt even the biggest ive been through.
guys Philippines got hit the big one earthquake 5.2 in 342km and it was really strong it hit the agusan and davao i was the epicenter and i thought it's the end i got panic attack and won't stop it started on december 25 2024 i was on the intensity IX
Can you do a video of material comparison with "Steel", "Wood", "Concrete" and "AAC Blocks", please. AAC blocks, which use advanced materials and engineering techniques, provide better seismic performance than normal concrete blocks during earthquakes of higher magnitude. AAC blocks are more reliable and safer than traditional building materials. AAC blocks are earthquake resistant because they are light in weight.
@@EarthquakeSim I was in Glendale, a few miles from the epicenter. I was on the 5th floor of a building with rollers so I think I felt it more dramatically than others.
the difference from IX and X is insane
