I just went and downloaded this whole particular album of Cher's (Living Proof). I owned the CD when it came out. It was right after 9/11, and it brings tears to my eyes listening to it now. We really needed anything at that time to bring us joy & laughter. Her music just made you feel better - just like watching Will & Grace ❤.
I completely agree with you, I bought this album when I was on college and as you said in that time 9/11 the whole world was kinda of falling apart (that time I was 18 and I´ve never though that this kind of things happen when I´m alive) and as you said: "We really needed anything at that time to bring us joy & laughter". The fact she rearranged the tracklist after 9/11 to begin with Song for the Lonely just for us in the US made it even more memorable 💚 I remember my UK friends jamming to the CD before it was released here, and the different but even more inspiring sound and feeling I had listening when I got my copy; I still cherish that album 🩶

Nope. Jack and Karen are great side characters but too shallow to carry a show-and any attempt to deepen them runs contrary to their very appeal, like a double negative.
WHY...........................did they cut the Heaven song number short??????????????? I wished they let her do the whole number. When you have Cher, never cut her singing bit short. There's a law against it.
