You are just leaving out the most embarrassing parts: came 3rd in World Cup qualifying, his obsession with getting weak mls players exposure during the WC, Mexico is probably the worst Mexico team in decades (who is our main competition), Berhalter being completely lost when a game doesn’t have the US as heavy favorites or adapting when a game isn’t going well and getting grouped in Copa America at HOME. On paper he was absolutely not qualified from a few years in the MLS and getting fired from the Swedish second division team. People don’t expect us to make the quarter finals but try to be competitive with in a round of 16 game and we have had zero “great” wins under him that less talented teams have pulled off like beating Spain in 2009. Glad he is gone, he wasn’t 100% of the problem but the manager is one thing that can be changed easily.

Try getting a _barista job_ with only 2 years’ experience making coffee! To much Keller hate because he isn't drinking the haterade. The part he's saying - which is very true - is to temper expectations. Some fans are just going to be miserable regardless - especially when it isn't a guy like Klopp. Do then its fire GGG and then keep complaining about the next guy. Its why at some point the Fed has to jist conduct business.
The problem to me though IS thr USSF, and it always was more on it than GGG. This WHOLE THING is on the ineptness and laziness of the USSF. They rubber stamped GGG after the Iran game. They then WASTED 2 years in a hosting cycle with a known quantity... and did so after repeated histories of 2 term failures (Arena, Bradley, Klinsmann...) Oh - and their "search" last year wasn't a search. It was time wasting for the issues to die down.
Make no mistake... this is 100% on the USSF and CPC. And i caution fans because i couldn't be surprised if they wheel out a Peter Vermes or something.
