I love having the option(s): slide or no slide, tune down, or standard tuning. I can totally do this either way; and that's a blast!
Great lesson, and I don’t have to worry about learning the slide dealy…how to rock with familiar riffs n chords!
You are Bad to the Bone, what great tone. Awesome!!!
Wow..how cool is this guitar lesson..thank you and pls do more guitar tutorials like this one.
Now is time to pick up the guitar and have fun❤
This is really cool. Thanks so much for sharing and showing us how to play it without a slide.
Sounds great ! You make it simple and fun ......Thanx Man !
Love your tone. Nice lesson!
Really love your tone! Tele, misbehaving . 😎 thank you for the lesson.
loving the lessons Hoodrio, thanks from small town Saskatchewan
Easiest and best lesson ever. I'm a beginner, and I can do this.
This is great. I never even thought to try one of Thorogood's tunes because I don't play slide. Thanks for posting this.
Just found this video. Wow awesome. Thanks so much. Short sweet and to the point👍🏼
Great lesson very well explained.
Beautiful guitar
Nice little video....Just love that tone you have goiong on. Robert
Thanks that’s an awesome lesson. Love it 👍🏼👍🏼
Brilliant! Thanks for the insight. Great instruction
you make learning really fun while making everything easy to understand- great job- just need to get a lap top to play along
Well this was a nice surprise. Awesome stuff👌
Good point bro about not discriminating against non-slide players! Although, I love the slide, it just feels awkward and constrictive! When I put it on my pinky, I lack control of it but if I put on my ring finger, then I can't play some of the major blues riffs and forget about the shuffle! So this was very helpful. Thank you!
This is so much fun! Sometimes you just want to rock out!
Great lesson video, thanks for posting this video!
Great lesson. Thank you!

Never did I hear a Tele sounding *_more_* like an ES125 - than an ES125 ...great stuff!!! - hows about a rundown on the iconic *_'You Got to Lose'_* riff .... which, inexplicably, no one on the Toob has covered....

MI Audio Crunch Box. PS--I always list gear used at the end of each video.
Thanks so much for this video! Not sure if you'll see this but I just rediscovered George Thorogood and this song straight up rocks my fucking socks off!
Also... weird question but are you Doug Benson? I don't think so because you don't come off as a goofy stoner, but man you guys have an incredibly similar voice.
Great lesson! So easy to play!
great fun lesson-THANKS
Most excellent ... thanks heaps !
the most clear thankyou
Wow!! Awesome, 🙏🏻 THANK U
Great lesson. Thank you. This is just what I was looking for. Maybe I'll learn slide in the future. Right now, I'd like to just knock out a few licks that sound like Thorogood. Not even play the songs. Just for laughs. Thank you.
Sad that you have to anticipate the complaints of the knuckleheads pointing out the obvious -- like you don't know that Thorogood plays slide guitar. Lmao.
Yes! Because sometimes.... you gotta rock!
thanks. good information. Rig sounds good.
Fantastic!
Excellent!
That sounds INSANE good ;)
good lesson! thanks!
Thank's for that...Thorogood seems easy to play...He's not. A lot of right hand technique , but you do a great job of explaining the left..
Thank you, excellent!
Thanks sir good stuff this helps alot !
You are a master teacher. Thank you for your time and effort.
Very nice.
George doesn’t use a slide on Who Do You Love. He plays e shape in the 12th fret position. Very nice anyway. :) And helpful. The A shape is nice. Nice to bring the low octave in on the A string too, with the open E right ringing out.
Cool stuff!
Now look here George is a slide player and you can't.... Hey only kidding man. Great lesson thanks.
Righteous man !
I love Rock chunky rhythm Riffs like this anyone have more suggestions on what to practice
Try this one: ruclips.net/video/yKjrD-yFmTw/видео.html
Very Nice.
FAB lesson !
Shit that was great man , thanks
thanks Forest
good stuff, thanks!!!
Yer the man, thanks 👍
Do you know how to play his version of the sky is crying ? I think it’s the best version and can’t find any lessons on it anywhere! Thanks
Put your guitar in Open G tuning and play the chords at frets 12 (one), 5 (four), and 7 (five). It’s just a 1-4-5 blues with a slide. You have probably seen this: ruclips.net/video/mO0b8zgF-fQ/видео.htmlsi=VnT3gh-utvpzRGk_
You rock!!!
Great Fun Thanks
Great lesson man. You sound like Tom Hanks!
I was thinking he sounds more like Ike Barinholtz. In a good way.
Could you pls do a lesson on how to play one Bourbon scotch and beer? Great lesson.
Go to 15:57 - ruclips.net/video/mO0b8zgF-fQ/видео.html
His voice reminds me of Professor Lupin from Harry Potter ahahah
What does the switch on that guitar do? George is awesome thanks for the video!
Serene Machine "modern Esquire" wiring kit.
Such a great lesson. can you do a lesson on one bourbon scotch and one beer George did too? Thanks
THANKS ! COOL lesson !! I don't play slide...Glad your not discriminating against us dummies...lol..
Thanks again. What pedal is paired with the Princeton here?
I have been watching this man and this is great. Can you please do a lesson George"s version of one bourbon scotch and beer PLEASE..and the chicken plucking noise he does during the song. Thank you.
Chicken pluckin noise goes like this, aghhhh, fucken aghhh! Your a luckin me ffs!
...and you just gotta go dun dun dun dun dun dun sometimes you just gotta do that bahahaha that's awesome
thanks!
Awesome! And let’s not discriminate against us non-slide players.
That looks like the same guitar Mike Campbell uses sometimes
Good Lesson, the only thing I noticed was you appeared to be using a pick whereas Thorogood fingerpicks, which is ok, it is a slide lesson for non- slide players. How about a lesson of his new "Willie DIxon's Gone"? THanks!
Trem King.
