Most of the time when we hear somebody with an incredible singing gift, we say that it is a gift from God. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that her vocal abilities have been given to her by God!

Isn't perfection her translated name? It goes: normal good, asian good, So Hyang.
Every time I think I've seen it all she just goes and stuns us with something new. She's a veteran gospel singer who grew up in church slaying the congregation until she became a young adult and began touring and releasing albums. She is so humble and has declined international recording contracts with major labels and stardom because she has vowed only to sing for Jesus and to raise money for charity after the Lord healed her from cancer. Please check out her performance of "Breathe" to hear the gorgeous songs she has performed this year during her successful reign on the "King of the Masked Singer" talent show.

The amazing part is she did lose that night. Problem wasn't her performance but biased audience voting for the other artist. The full episode is on RUclips and you can see the other contestants reaction after her performance. You were bang on with your assessment. They were speechless and the remaining contestants didn't want to sing. Lol

ibukola Actually, during that episode, most of the audiences were a bias of this one performer named Jung Dongha. Some of the audiences even said that his fans told them not to vote for Sohyang. I'm like WTF?!

it is really a nightmare when singing ahead of you is someone named SO HYANG...if i was a participant in there..i will be melted with that kind of performance.

Thank you so much for reacting to Sohyang's cover of Everyone. In case you have not read it already, Sohyang started out as a gospel singer some 20+ years ago. Only if I know which church she visited, I would have stayed here to just listen to her. It's said that this might be the hardest song for Sohyang (basically 7+ minutes of belting, not to mention the emotional drain) and she never performed this song again since this show. You can't be done just yet. There are still many amazing Sohyang videos out there waiting for your reaction :-) Perhaps you can check out Breathe (vimeo.com/220186607) by her on the King Of Masked Singer to enjoy Sohyang's voice, and to feel her magic for healing when you get around to it. It happens to be my favorite of her performances on King of Masked Singer.

She actually had a concert in LA on 15th July and last year a concert in NYC so maybe you can see her next year if she decides to come to the US again
she was at Agua Caliente Resort and Casino which is actually 120 miles out of L.A. in the desert ... a suburb of Palm Springs.

Agua Caliente is practically just a suburb of LA. It was a full house, the show was sold out and most people there were from LA although there were some like me who traveled hours to get there including a few fans from Canada and the East Coast.
Pete Flores I went to that concert at the Agua caliente! I can't really describe how it was she's just so good.
Agua Caliente is not just a suburb of LA. It is a two hour drive from LA and in the middle of the frickin desert. I live in LA. LA suburbs are places like Glendale or Northridge that are adjacent to LA. Just saying.
I met her IRL after one of her concerts. I can assure you that she is a real human being. I have a selfie with her to prove it. ;)

She doesn’t sing for fame or money, she sings for God. she survived Cancer and she credits her recovery to her faith, so she sings just for God. Thus the Gospel sound. She is by far the best singer in the world. There is no comparing her to any-other singer out there, she is powerful, a master of vocal technique and diction. She has been scouted by the most prestigious agencies in the world and has turned them all down. Her goal is to spread god’s love through her music.
