Been listening to these guys since i was a teenager way overlooked
you're not wrong but this is why i hate labels like that, especially for music. it 'turns people off' before they even give it a chance. i'm as opposite of a stereotypical 'stoner' as one can get and i love this band. if i were too stupid to look past labels, i'd have missed out.

The Wah pedal at its very finest and hands down zero hesitation one of if not my fav solos of all time..saw them at "The Earl" in Atlanta of few yrs ago, really normal and down to earth dudes

My friend and I took some hallucinogens and went to one of their shows 2 yrs ago. It probably goes without saying, but it popped my f'ing head off. One of my all-time shows for sure. I'd never heard of them until then.

One of the bands I have been SO FUCKING lucky to have seen live.....although got hammered drunk and don`t remember leaving the venue, my pal, who was even luckier than me because he got called in last minute to be their support act, had nothing bad to say though he had never heard of them before that night. The only thing I would have changed was for some merchandise to sell....but no...not even a signed crisp wrapper when I, kind of ,woke up next morning.
Real happy I found Dead Meadow back in highschool. These guys kick ass, nothin better on a road trip.

Hell yeah!!! Elder fucking rules!!! and they're from my home town too. Dead Meadow used to be heavier and I've noticed a lot of their fans complaining that the riffs are no longer there, however I still enjoyed the Old Growth record.

I saw them in Melbourne and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I prefer Shivering King personally, but I feel all of their albums have a different vibe, no better or worse. Kind of like a box of coloured pencils
I think this sounds way more like something out of the 70's than Sleep or Kyuss.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
The music sounds pure early 70's acid rock where as the vocals do seem a bit more 90's grungish
hard psych done the RIGHT way!
Sleep and Kyuss are Stoner/Doom, while Stoner rock is a wide genre I think this band right here is more like bluesy psych.
