Strange light phenomenon in the sky

On the way to Stockholm I noticed a strange light appeared in the sky. It looked like a hole with rainbow like colors on the side and the light from the sun was passing through it. I thought it's a cloud but it stayed in the sky for more than half an hour, so it could be something else.

SUN DOG. Look it up.Very common and normal.....

In my opinion he was playing with sunglasses or filters between him and the sun (or just with the car´s polarized glasses...nothing weird bb !!
