Thanks - this is the 3rd video I’ve watched on n this cabin type and by far the most informative. I’ve only been in one cruise and paid double, I think before solo was an option. Only thing I don’t like in seeing NCL’s solo room layout is no window (not even a small one) for natural light. This one has more than enough, the window is about as big as the one in my living room. 😅 I noticed all 3 videos (at least 2 different rooms) showed the same silhouette picture of Billie Holiday (actually more like Diana Ross’ portrayal). Now I wonder if that’s somehow part of the solo cruising theme.
Thanks for watching! I agree that these rooms are much more appealing than the NCL Studio rooms which are small inside staterooms. I think they use similar photos all throughout the ship in various other rooms as well.
I'll be solo on the Edge Rome to Ft. Lauderdale in a few days. We should be departing Gibraltar and heading out into the blue on the 28th. Looking forward to some old time rock and roll. Not a solo stateroom though. Oceanview with 0% single supplement. Which in my experience is better and cheaper too.
Also, when your booking a solo room ask if it has an ‘obstructed view. Theyll tell you the %. My upcoming c Beyond cabin only has a 10% obstruction. Happy solo cruising! On my was to Rome now!

I'm sure you heard about Celebrity charging more (per person) for a solo traveller than for two in a room! It's bad enough having to pay 200% of the fare in order to get a single room but paying more than 200% is outrageous.
