    I have the kicker speakers and the tweeters hooked up to a 4 channel amp. Highs and mids are bright and clear. You will NEED a sub though to hear any sort of bass. I added a powered JBL 12” sub and it sounds better than my wife’s Harmon system in her Outback

    Great work man! Although CVT wrx of course not the best sport car in the league, it is a fun car as DD and it can actually bring more people to get a taste to be part of the subie family.
    I know that you are going to have a STI and it is definitely a lot more fun with but hopefully you can keep update us about your CVT wrx!
    P.s. you deserve more viewers and subscribers to your channel!

    Gday mate just wondering if you know the answer to this question: When entering a fairly steep uphill driveway at a tip toe speed sometimes I get this scraping sound but it is not the body of the car physically touching the floor. The sound happens only maybe 10% of the time so I cannot figure out what causes it to happen. I recall someone saying it is to do with driving feature engaging? Does anyone know the explanation for this and also a way to avoid from happening? I take this driveway every morning so I am keen to find a solution.

    does a transmission fluid change necessary to the wrx cvt? i hear that the fluid is lifetime but i personally don't believe that there is "lifetime" fluid

      Jack Lin This is very highly debated amongst CVT owners and mechanics. SOA says just leave it alone because flushing it in most cases causes it to fail. If you do decided to flush it, just do a drain and fill, don’t pressure flush it as that moves metal fragments up into the CVT and will cause it to fail.

      Change every 30k

    Agree with the "lifetime" CVT Fluid. Do you a reputable place in NoVa to change WRX CVT fluid? Also which dealership did you buy your fluid from too?

    Hey man love the videos I’ve watched all three parts now, but I’m curious do you think it is necessary to have an oil air separator

    Hey I have the cvt cooler but need the fluid. I noticed you posted the part number of the high torque cvt fluid, all I can find is the 5gal jug for $400. Just wanted to make sure this is the one you purchased or is there another smaller container

      This cvt cooler mod WILL void your 100k cvt warranty (what Subaru told me) anyone else want to chime in on warranty status?

    Hello sir! Have you ever consider doing a video on how to fix rock chips on your bumper?

    I know you made a video on launch control about a year ago, but i noticed that you did it with traction control and stability control on, is there a difference if you were to turn them off. As in just pressing the button once and as well press and holding for more than 2 secs to get them both off? I noticed in my car the launch seems rather slow with them on.

    As an electrical engineer, battery dying should NOT RESET those non-volatile variables. When you power it on, it reads the existing code and does the thing (think about the alternative, it would be absolute chaos if there was no difference between permanant and temporary memory)

    About the CVT fluid:
    I got a second hand 2015 Forester with 100k on the clock. The first thing I did is change the CVT fluid. I went to the local Subaru shop and we put Valvoline's Full Synthetic CVT fluid. 20k since then and I am very happy with my CVT. I plan on changing the fluid again at around 135k.
    End of story is if you dont change your transmission fluid, you will change the whole transmission.

    What does one have to do if they want an automatic wrx

    • @mikaelafox6106
      @mikaelafox6106 5 лет назад

      Order one, or hope a dealership near you has one with the options you want. For me, the closest CVT WRX with some, but not all, of the options I wanted was two states away. I gave up my hunt and ordered one. Should be here someday this month.

    • @onffxiimanon
      @onffxiimanon 5 лет назад

      Absolutely order one. You will get exactly what you want, it will not have been through any test drives, and you can ask for things like a no USDM drilled bumper or for the dealer to leave the stickers on if you want to professionally paint corrected.
