Kempo is Definitely interesting. It's being said quit alot lately that Traditional Martial Arts is Useless in a Street Fight. From Experience I Know otherwise. Kempo as I see it is pretty much Designed for the StreetFighter. My only concern is are these moves also being Power Trained? I generally like to end it with one or two strikes, 3 perhaps if there are no other threats to deal with. A little hip & shoulder rotation will go a long way behind these movements to increase power. However it will create a point of impact curve that will have to be worked out prior to these exercises on a partner.
Yes sir, totally agree, the goal in Kenpo is to end the threat within the first 3 moves, the sooner the better. Speed and power has generating forces that should always be applied like you said. Principles like body rotation and torque helps with developing power.
