Adam said during an interview the Travel Channel said to keep the show engaging. There no point winning a challenge and acting like a vaccum cleaner in front of the camera. The show would've flopped if that's the case.
It’s so crazy how far he got in this type of challenge! There are other challenges where he doesn’t get even close I wasn’t expecting him to take down even half. Crazy how far he got!
I think it about what taste the best. I mean he won the Alaskan challenge and has told in every interview that it's the best thing he ate. I mean, that challenge was even bigger than this.
It's kind of like how I hate it when food challenges just add a ton of french fries to the mix, they're just cheap empty carbs to fill things out and in most cases they don't even taste all that good after awhile.
@@irishnovember5900 certo che lo so che non c'è nulla di italiano in quello che sta mangiando... parlavo di porzioni, ovvio che quello che sta ingurgitando è roba americana..
What I loved about Adam Richmond was that he had a unique and fun way of relating with his tv audience, and every crowd was so hype and captivated and start struck at the same time making them his unmanned orchestra at nearly every challenge there will never be anybody like Adam also he calls people on the phone during challenges who else does that what a legend....
In my early teenage years, I was a big eater, eating disorder. In fact it was all I really did at that time. Breakfast was a dozen eggs, pound of bacon, steak, sausage, quart of milk, half loaf of bread (interestingly not the whole loaf) with cheese, sometimes grilled cheeses, and dessert was about 6 or seven Suzie-Q's, Ring-Dings, Little Debbies cupcakes. Nobody saw me eating. Family left the house for work and school and I went to school in the afternoon, due to overcrowding. To my own credit, I skipped lunch, but dinner was just as gluttonous. I did play football at around 300 pounds and moved surprisingly well. But, the coaches urged me to reduce but I gained more weight. Got faint in the weight room, lifting weights a few times. But, I got started on a program, joined the track team for field events and played some baseball, kept active, cut way down on food, ran a lot, played some field hockey and lost a quick 100 pounds and then some more and kept it off. All that leads to my feeling of sympathy for those that eat big and even disgust, because it reminds me of those days and how I felt. I was not happy. But, Adam is in a whole different league. He played the part well. I know that he since reduced and I am so happy for him and his health and wish him and his magnanamous personality a long and healthy life and a heartful "CONGRATULATIONS," for his life after "MAN vs. FOOD," which I still enjoy immensely and enjoy past episodes even more, knowing that he conquered the demon.
Legit was my favourite episode as a kid simply for the fact that he visited Canada. My country being represented in my favourite show was amazing to me. :)
I am a food addict trying to find recovery, and there is no way I would ever attempt something like this. Damn my stomach is churns just looking at it.
This is the only time I have seen Adam take on a challenge in another country. All the episodes I have seen were in the USA. I'm sure there must be others, but this is the only one I have seen. It's nice to see challenges in other nations
If we take out the Loaf and the 9 dishes and desert..this might be the best example of Man vs Food/ an eating challenge on the show..no 1 1/2 pound of chips..the load is a standard "sub" the challenge is varied it's more about eating a lot of food than eat a lot of ONE type of food (bread-fries-meat) the only "constant" i would say is the starchy-carb loaded spaghetti that's in a lot of the food as well as the mountain of cheese combined
Adam's strategy of combining the dishes was a good one, but instead of starting with the lasagna I wold have done the spagetti first. Then combined the manacotti and canolloli (the creaminess of the cheese would help cut the overload on the meats). For the Chicken Parm Hero, I would have added some of the salad, then added the rest to the soup - it would have bulked up the soup, but not so much that it would have become unmanagable. That drops the number of dishes from ten to five. So, in order, my attack plan would have been; 1) Spagetti with the sausage 2) Canloni/Manacotti combo 3) Chicken parm hero and soup together, dipping the the sandwich as you go. Helps to disolve the bread, so it'll take up less space in your stomach. The salad is already a part of those two. 4) Lasagna 5) The apple crisp to finish. Doing the lasagna last makes the most sense, as its a heavier dish compared to most of the others. The apple crisp is comparitavely light, and would help to 'wash' the taste down.
meat balls spagetti, parmisan chicken are not italian food , i mean i could coock everything and call italian food but this will never be real italian food. Come in Italy and look our food :D btw cannelloni and lasagna(ricotta, pecorino romano and mozzarella ? why?? ) seems good
“Adam has this in the bag.”
50 minutes later:
“I don’t think Adam has it in him.”
man flipped on Adam so quick lmao
@@_IRFAN_ that’s what I said 😂
Reality hit with dissapointment
His personality alone was the best of the show bro and that’s Factz.
The new guy is so monotone and unenthusiastic. It pains me to even try and watch him.
AGREED!! 🙌 I Miss Him Sooooooo Much!! 😭💔

I absolutely hate this character on the show.
He's f a t & needs to stop lmao

no one this challenge is crazy starchy
He called his Mom for permission to eat dessert before he finished his dinner...awwwwwww!! A man after my own heart!! 😍❤😘🙌
Yes, he wanted to be a good son.
“How do most people look after an attempt at the Italian challenge?”
Sweaty... really sweaty...
I wouldn’t try a challenge that has multiple pasta dishes and bread.
Them carbs will get anyone super full, at least there weren’t rice and potatoes.
aaron gibson the worst when all that expands in you stomach

@@RAClaus3 Yeah seriously, or whenever they add a liter of gravy or a huge salad that needs to be eaten as "filler"....
Definitely not.
you call it a challenge... we in Italy usually call it "Sunday morning at grandma's home". MANGIAAH!
Literally none of this is Italian. It’s all American versions of Italian food. Huge difference.
Well you don’t tho do you

The real hero in this series is the toilet after every challenge he attempts.
Hahahaha
And he finds out they lack TOILET PAPER
Hope he uses 3ply at least
There's always one goof who makes a toilet comment
1:32 the chef is like "is this dude for real? are we really doing this?"
Upload more of Adam, Love his videos.
Ikr. The new guy is cool and all but Adam is the OG
The chef was lookin at Adam when he “tucked in” the lasagna like “tf r u doing?”😂😂

Nooo, he is great, but this crowd is only hyped because they're told to
I can’t even manage to eat the whole chicken sandwich he made
Strange experiments lol I’m 5’11 270 and I’d be done on the chicken parm and dessert lmao
I wouldn't have made it through the lasagna!! 😩😂
Bender
6 main meals, an entire loaf of garlic bread, soup, salad and a dessert. That's insane 😂😂
I'm gonna like this video because 1) I love Adam's work, and 2) I live Italian food.
I HATE the feeling of being too full w/a PASSION!! I don't know how he does it!! 😩😖😳🙌

I normal would talk shit and say I could do this... but this one is questionable
I wish I could take the challenge because i like it! Adam is a legend that make me hungry after all
Lmao he gets that girl at 0:50 to do the Lady and the Tramp what a legend.
*_YOU CAN SKIP EVERYTHING AND GO RIGHT TO DESSERT_*
Yes
Kudos to Adam for not being a competitive eater and still eating that much 😌
You know the challenge is crazy when Adam cracks up during the narration
One of my favorite Man Vs Food challenges of all time💪💯
My favourite, cos of the type of food, but mostly the location, geographicall, not the premises in which he ate.
Adam: Hello, Mom?
Mom: Hi! Are you all right?!?!?
Italian mom's are the best.
All the food looked delicious ..... shame Adam couldn't finish that one last dish !!! 👍
best thing about UK shows is that no matter what year they are shot, they still look from 2002
Legit was my favourite episode as a kid simply for the fact that he visited Canada. My country being represented in my favourite show was amazing to me. :)
Canada is awesome! Haven't been there for awhile. My ex-wife is from NF, ONT. I miss the coffee crisps.

Dude stop watching this channel! Lol
I like how the guy went from 3:52 to 6:15😂
As I was watching I was like “hey what a fucking sell out”
"The problem is NOT WHAT goes in, but HOW it's going to come out".
Greetings from RUSSIA.
Hahaha

He did at least one episode in South America (Argentina I think) and did a huge steak challenge
I'm sure they've weighed it but that just looks like way more than 7 pounds. That's crazy to try
All that sauce he will have Acid Reflux for days...and all that cheese yikes.
Ah yes 7 pounds of food but how many pounds did he gain
3:25 It's like going to Nonna's house.
He has such a great personality
I'd have to fast for 24 hours to even attempt this challenge.
Guy at 3:53 he’s got this in the bag
Same Guy 6:17 yea it’s to much food to begin with he doesn’t stand a chance lol
Lmao 😂
Every one of them dishes are absolutely delicious!!!!!!
Half a pound of lasagna and a breadstick, please..? Ty!
Adam throwin up gang signs never get old like lmao
Awesome, big up the Bridge Street massive.

I cannot believe Adam immediately quits the Italian challenge
These are the only RUclips videos that I watch first before reading the comments
Adam is pretty impressive eating all of that even thought he’s not a competitive eater, I wanna see matt stonie and randy santel to try this
Joel Hansen should join them.
Ayyy I’m from Niagara Falls, mick and angelo’s is rly good tbh🤤
I would try that bc I love all of those Italian Classics.
Those are not italian dishes

So much heartburn

I would try, fail, and be Oh So Happy🎶 with the leftovers
That waiter was my grade 10 business teacher lol
I wanna go and see if this challenge still around LOL
He's something ekse!! Makes me laugh!!!!😅😅😅😅
man finishing a whole loaf of garlic bread itself seems like a challenge to me lol..
Arguably very nice combination of italian food
Most of the crowd wearing T-shirt and shorts while Adam wears a jacket. That has to be uncomfortable while doing a challenge
First time Adam did a segment shot in Canada.
My buddy joey is on the wall of Fame !
Why didn’t he wait like 10 minutes and then eat it he could probably eat it after that time and he had enough time
This guy EATS!
Honestly Matt stonie should host this show
but the programme isn't called competitive eater v food
Adam always starts off strong lol
I could eat all that just give me a couple blunts and we good
no way. not within 90 minutes.
My brother smokes, and when my mom cooks a villages worth of food he goes outside, take a smoke break, and then finishes his whole plate.

I love Italian food, but MIO DIO!
