Hey guys! I have missed you all! I thought we would start back slow today with a cute little advent calendar! Unfortunately this whole video is a bit of a mess! From broken items, falling apart scrunchies, to tater trying to eat everthing, and me barely being able to breathe it was a bit of a struggle! Absolutely true for me. They're not that different than monthly subscription boxes, except that with the calendars you know that there's going to be either 12 or 24 items, and some of the things might smell like peppermint or eggnog.
FYI a bean feast is a term of English origin typically used to mean a meal that is in celebration of something or, historically, a meal thrown for employees by their employer. Basically the equivalent of a "nobody filed for workman's comp this month" pizza party. I, too, made it to adulthood singing that line and never realizing i had no idea what a bean feast was until very recently 😂
I don't wear makeup. I will probably never buy a makeup advent calendar.... but watching you open videos feels like sitting down with a friend for a cup of tea and a chat so I will watch every video you put out :-) Keep being so sweet!
For the blender- they could have made the blender into the gobstopper! It wouldn’t necessarily be the most useful thing for the traditional blender users but it would be super unique!
The attention to detail with this calendar is great! The scents match, the themes are on point. I think you’re right, the beauty blender is supposed to be a golden egg. So neat! I think the creator/designer was on top of it but the low budget they were given made some items fall flat.

They will only require her to send a picture to customer service. They will replace it or give her a refund/credit. I had one of Makeup Revolution's gift sets break twice in transit. They replaced it each time until it arrived without damage.

On goth, raver, cyber goth and punk girly's that purple shade in fact any wild color shade looks fabulous on them just like on goth girls who can easily sport that Grey blush with Grey lipstick...

Ignore whoever is telling you that adding "-y" on the end of things, they are not worth listening to you. What i have noticed that you (like me & many others) say sorry WAY too much - when what you really mean is "thank you for your patience/understanding/support" - it truly helps switch your mindset, esp with you as you often apologise for being sick or unfortunate life situs and you need to stop. If ANYTHING wriggles it way into you brain, i hope its this because WE LOVE YOU and we love the way you speak and you dont have to change a thing. You are beautiful inside and out and its because you are being YOURSELF. 💖

Would have loved the chocolate lip gloss to be a more browner shade! All three lip colors seemed a bit too similar for my liking. Overall, I think the gingerbread collab calendar that they did was much more themed and cuter for the money!

I'm very pale and have neutral\pink undertone, all blush and lipstick colors turn warm on me, so purple blush is really up my ally! I have a pale lavender and a mauve ones and they look way better on me then trendy peachy tones. Gotta look for this one or something similar now!
I love it when you add -y to words. I vote you think about my support instead of that person's unasked for criticism next time you want to call something wonka-y. I think their opinion is wonka-y!
Unscented baby wipes are great to keep on hand for removing makeup, fragrance you end up hating or a yucky/ greasy lotion (or anything else). They're also great for pets when they need freshening or have nose or eye boogies. ❤ ya. Another great video. ❤ to Ren & Tater!
I've seen some darker skinned makeup guru's who look so beautiful in those purple blushes. I'm glad they're adding stuff for a wider range of skin tones. Also, take care of yourself, Alexandria! You're bubbly videos are a balm for the mind and spirit! Much love to the boys.

I think this calendar is the first beauty calendar I've seen that seems actually worth it. No free samples, all full sized product. Cute aesthetics and a reasonable price. This should be what all calendars are like.
I love Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka, I grew up watching that annually! I saw the new movie and loved all the little references they made to his character, absolutely recommend especially if you liked Matilda the musical that came out last year, very similar vibe. Also the calendar is cute, almost forgot that’s why we’re here 😅😂
The violet blush would be lovely on very dark skin. This calendar is nice if you are really into Charlie/Wonka or were wanting to try some Revolution products. The value isn't great, though. I would take the purchase price, buy what I liked and wrap them & number them. Voila! Advent calendar!
the Gene Wilder willy wonka boat tunnel scene is the reason I have a massive negative reaction to centipedes and millipedes because of the scene of one on that guys face. Scared the shit out of me as a kid

I bought the regular advent calendar for my daughter and she’s been pretty happy with it. I think I managed to snag it for $25 (not including shipping) and it has 25 days. It looks like a nice set for her. Lots of lip products but that’s what she loves.

Yay!!!!!! You poor dear, being sick is not fun.... I love hot tea, so I made a half gallon pitcher that I keep in the fridge and can heat up when I feel like tea!! Oh!! I used 12 bags and let it steep in the fridge for 2 days and used my potato ricer to squish the liquid from of all of the bags!! Genius!!❤❤❤
You did a great job! I know its probably because of your breathing that you made a more calm video than usual. Honestly it works great, you dont have to be high energy all the time. It was a very relaxed video to watch which was nice. You don’t have to waste too much energy to be entertaining, just do whatever you feel like ❤

Revolution is one of the best cheaper brands for pigmentation and quality. Though these calendars are way too overpriced most of these items end up on major clearence and that's when I buy them as I'm cheap lol 😂😊

Maybe it's not the highest value, but it's nice to see an Advent calendar that is actually full of mainly decent items. Some of them are very nice. The scrunchie is very cute but a little underwhelming. Hope you had fun unboxing it Alexandria, and I hope you keep getting better 🙏
My personal opinion of Revolution makeup (after having spent a small fortune on it and similarly priced makeup products) is that overall, the quality doesn't really match the price. This goes for both their main makeup and collaborations. Their packaging and theming is always really cute though, so my general advice is only to buy their collabs, and to only do that if you really love who/what they're collaborating with. Personally, I'm a huge Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy fan so I bought basically their entire collection for both the Harley Quinn Mad Love collab and the Harley x Ivy. Again, the quality is pretty "eh" but I know I'm ok buying $12 eye brushes JUST because they have vines and Ivy on them. Buy it for the packaging, not the product. Eta: definitely not saying it's a postive, and companies *should* put effort into presentation AND product. But if you /know/ that you're only buying it because you're a sucker for cute packaging, you're at least making an informed purchase.
I'm personally offended at the fact these companies think thia kind of advent calendar is worth the money LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication ❤️

I work with licences items and have worked with warner bros. The @WBEI (23s) is what is called a legal line. And it in the copyright information for the products and has to be on all iteams that we do for all brands. And some are longer and some are shorter. Hope that helps.😊

I work with licences items and have worked with warner bros. The @WBEI (23s) is what is called a legal line. And it in the copyright information for the products and has to be on all iteams that we do for all brands. And some are longer and some are shorter. Hope that helps.😊
