It made me sad & try not to be because I love Aaliyah. I can't help but to think what her life would be & what her impact on this world would have been 😔😔 RIP Aaliyah (Baby Girl)
Had to come on here and watch this, beacuse this episode is getting ready to come on tonight on "The 90s Are All That" but for whatever reason, they don't show the special guest performances at the end of the show. Smh...but I love me some Aaliyah! Wish I would've been able to meet her...this was '97 so I only would've been 2 at the time! Wow, how time flies....
Angie Parker man when they brought back All that Kenan and kel and the Amanda show back in '07 when all that was on they did show the musical guest cuz one particular episode the musical guest was the late Heavy D and that was the first time I heard his track "Big Daddy" that was like 10 years ago
Aaliyah wouldn't have wanted that--she was an excellent student who graduated from a prestigious high school with a high GPA--she was an excellent role model for her fans.
1) Wake up for school 2) Barely passing quizzes and test 3) Watch everybody else eat those nasty school lunches 4) Recess + back to classes 5) Walk home from school, stop at the candy store (buy PENNY CANDY for $1.00) 6) WATCH NICKELODEON a little bit, then GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY until you're tired, go back inside and watch tv(Nickelodeon) until Nick @ Night ...forget about homework.
+Najs Shakur A lot of them do.. That's the sad part. I keep seeing kids comment on how their shows suck compared to ours. Or how they wish they grew up in the 90s.
+SupaDupa FlyGuy all my brothers n sister were born in da 90's n I was born in '01 so they show my all da shows they used to watch n early 2000's cartoons ain't dat bad
No short skirts and trashy rags. No mega million contracts and bought and paid for radio play. No corporate Rhianna or sold out Beyonce. Just pure ass talent. RIP
LOL Nickelodeon was a upscale version of BET lol , they were hood , but still some how kept white kids and white and black audiences happy and watching it's shows , No wonder I loved Nickelodeon more then Disney lol 😂.
It's really sad how celebrities are more famous in death than they are in life. If Aaliyah were still alive today, this would probably just be another obscure television clip.
@Shawnice Purcell Calm down, I wasn’t saying anything an insult. I was just stating a fact that when celebrities die in very unfortunate deaths, they become much larger than they did in life and everything they’ve done in media is treated as a very precious commodity.
how come she didn't use the Wireless mic that Janet Jackson, Madonna, TLC, Britney Spears, JLo and Ciara use/used??? That would have helped her out a lot. She was no Tina Turner or Beyoncé, even though they danced they didn't dance heavy like the other ladies that I named, Aaliyah included.
+Morgan Simon She chose to sing live so they gave her an actual microphone.. A lot of people don't realize that those wireless mic pieces are mostly for decoration and to give illusion of "live" vocals. When really it's pre-recorded so the artist can fully engage in the dancing. They're real microphones, but often they are barely used.
One thing I like about Aaliyah is that she sounds the same on her album as she does when she performs...
agree on that!
I miss the 90's the best decade
It really was, I’d give anything to go back in time lol!
me too. Her voice has really improve 😍😍😍
When left eye and Aaliyah was alive
I'm a grown ass woman and I cried watching this video.... RIP baby girl
It made me sad & try not to be because I love Aaliyah. I can't help but to think what her life would be & what her impact on this world would have been 😔😔 RIP Aaliyah (Baby Girl)

Ooh okay okay. I get it now... I didin't think about that!
Copyrights. If Nick plays the performances they would have to pay royalties
Angie Parker man when they brought back All that Kenan and kel and the Amanda show back in '07 when all that was on they did show the musical guest cuz one particular episode the musical guest was the late Heavy D and that was the first time I heard his track "Big Daddy" that was like 10 years ago

They don't show the live performances....
