Sweetcorn’s a good idea, but it’s harder to apply without a spod if fishing further out.

just a thought.. when using pva bags in the rain to help prevent them from breaking down could you dip them in a Glug of Olive Oil and Rock salt ??
You could coat them if you feel it’s necessary, but I find keeping it covered and making a quick cast is easier.

How on earth did you train that fly to walk perfectly to blur out your pva bag on the cast, well done!
I did 378 takes, it was a lot of bag tying, recasting and effort but when I got that shot it was all worth it 😉

I’ve been using Berkeley Flex Mono recently in 0.35 and 0.40mm 👍
