I really do love the town. I used to go to the Saint Stanislaus school in town and every day after school I did my favorite thing to do after school and that's railfanning aka watching trains. I really do miss the town and I do wanna visit again.

Jimmy Buffet filmed a video "Bama Breeze" at what remained of the Fire Dog Saloon in Bay St. Louis. I frequented that place when I lived there. Katrina took quite a toll on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Always go Beach Blvd to Silver Slipper. Beautiful Bay St. Louis along Beach Blvd. Love the stretch with the restaurants by the water. It's a beautiful place, wonderful homes along the water.
Just left from there on Friday, Cuz’s is a great place to eat. Been going there over the last 15 years only place to be other than Pensacola during the off season.
Biloxi is still nice. I like Bay St. Louis as well but its nothing without the main cities and attractions. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS come to BILOXI and not Bay St. Louis. This video is cool but just a matter of opinion. Shut all the casinos down in Biloxi and see what happens. Furthermore Bay. St. Louis is in Hancock County with around 10,000 people. A beach town Biloxi is the main city. Be proud of it!!!! Because my town( Memphis) is terrible terrible
I was born in Gulfport and moved to Bay St. Louis in 1996, then to Waveland 2 weeks before Katrina. I love all the coast but in Hancock County we have little tolerance for traveling criminals. Move here from anywhere and you will be welcomed, but you will be expected to pay your own way. It is a bunch of mostly lower middle income folks who have high respect for working, loving, and enjoying this world. It is a happy place, slow pace. Crime rate is very low, taxes are very low, schools are at least average. Biloxi has been invaded by transients that have no historical connection with the area and ruined the sense of community and safety of that area. It was a little like that 60 years ago, but seems to have gotten much worse.
