    1 cup cilantro
    Half a bulb of garlic
    1-2 habanero w/ seeds
    Half a shallot
    1 tbs garlic powder
    1 tbs onion powder
    1 tbs coarse black pepper
    1 tbs kosher salt
    1 tbs red pepper flakes
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    1/2 cup olive oil or more if too thick
    1/2 of a lime juice
    1 tsp of the lime zest

      Holy crap! This is my first time making a chimichurri and it was amazing! I subd with parsley and jalapeño instead and still came out delicious. The lime really brings it together imo👌 thank you sir.

    Just a quick tip add the vinegar first then mix a bit and then add the oil , it mixes better!

    I tried your recipe a few weeks ago. IT WAS FUCKING PHENOMENAL! So packed with flavor and was the perfect complement to my picanha. I'm making this again for the 4th of July.

      I make it with both mix. Plus I like the cilantro Flavor much more then parsley.

    Pretty good, even if it's so green it looks like a salsa verde. But chimichurri doesn't have cilantro - we put dried oregano instead, and no pepper.
    Parsley, oregano, garlic, salt, pepper, dried chili flakes, salt, vinegar (any kind, purists will tell you it requires red wine vinegar, but you can use white vinegar or even apple cider vinegar) and oil. Nothing more than that.

      Yo le pongo romero bien picado incluso. Y pimentón. Pero jamás lo haría con aceite de oliva o vinagre de vino. Y sin cebolla, a esa la guardo para la criolla.

    Whats the difference between using cilantro and parsley..i see other recipes using parsley

      Just parsely is the traditional way. This is a more new school way using both cilantro and Parsely. I believe this way has a lot more flavor.

    Bro I just made this! Didn’t have red wine vinegar so I added apple cider vinegar, and didn’t have habaneros but I put a Serrano. My wife can’t stop eating it! Really good man

    Just made this cause im making steak tomorrow and wow!!!!! My mom makes her own pepper sauce so i used that instead of the habenaro and i added a bit of oregano...my grocery store didn't have any red wine vinegar so substituted with white wine vinegar and omg i cant wait to make Sunday dinner tomorrow!
    Mind you i dont even really know how chimichurri is supposed to taste think i had it once at a restaurant terrible flavorless so this is a huge step up! Thanks for the recipe 🙌🏾

    Buenos Aires! I mean, Buenos dias! Did 3 chiles de árbol instead of the habos, omitted the shallot cause my grocery store didn’t carry it, and dropped a pinch of orégano seco that my mom uses on pozole (it’s magic) I like the grated zest idea. Ing have been flirting in a sealed jar in the fridge for 5 hrs now.
    The cortes argentinos will sizzle tonight. I’ll come back n comment how it went.
