I love Bryce Harper I really do but if he consistently gets pounded by pitchers on the lower to upper edge of the outside part of the plate he is going to hit .220 just look at his swing he cannot take the ball the other way on an outside pitch consistently enough to be able to hit .290 plus every year. YES I’m a Phillies fan and I watched about 150 games this year so I’m not hating I’m just simply stating facts
Yez that's why he has a shift on him. They know he likes to pull the ball so they pitch him on the outside so he can't do that. I like Harper but I think he should work on trying to go the opposite way on those pitches
