Wow--THANK YOU so much for this!! I'm a photoshop expert and am only now switching to Procreate due to monthly cost. Watching your video was incredibly insightful. I kept mentally referring to my PS processes of accessing the same tools and menus and cannot believe how fast, easy, and streamlined Procreate is. The only downside I am seeing is the limitation of layers based on canvas size which is a bummer for me since my work can expand a couple of hundred layers at relatively large canvas sizes. Perhaps now is the time to subscribe to the "less is more" concept :) Thanks again--I just subscribed to your channel and can't wait to go through your other Procreate tutorials!
That's great to hear! I'm glad you liked the video. Yea the layer limitation is a hinderance for some. I have become completely accustomed to it. There is a method in audio recording called 'bouncing the track' which I have adapted to my workflow in Procreate. Whenever I decide a layer is good enough, I merge it down to a lower level master layer. It's super simple to set up with the quick menu aswell. I'm posting a video about it in a few days, stay tuned! :)

I've been looking for a better portable alternative to my Wacom and Photoshop and have been incredibly hesitant. This video has completely changed my percpective and I am now excited to go buy an iPad and start being creative. Thank you!
Great tutorial! During the blend mode list at 9:17, overlay is more close to color burn and color dodge instead of screen and multiply. The contrast is increased and you end up with more saturated colors, while black and white remain relatively untouched (this is not the case with linear dodge / burn, where it applies the effect to black and white respectively).
This was the best Procreate tutorial I've seen so far. There were things I saw other people do, that I wanted to do too, but had no idea how. When I watched this video all of my questions were answered. Great Video, keep up the good work!
