Everyone before you kickoff the plan of starting your skincare or cosmetic business, the crucial point is to ensured your products are manufactured under the microbial limits if you are making it in a lab we need to be responsible to every customer who support our business and protect them as families. As someone who started a hair care business would you recommend starting with 1-2 products or 3-5? So basically start small and grow over time or with a big bang with multiple products?
In my opinion, start with 1-2 and then scale higher with time.
This saves you some extra stress and "disappointments" in some cases.
Also, you get to learn what works better from your experience with the first ones and this will help you figure out what to improve on before introducing more.
I would stay with 2 so your business gets known for that signature product

@@leahscott1359 still in my opinion, start with 2 scents of each (both scrub and butter). But then, you have to research well to know which scents are well sought after.
Best to have the 2 scents you start with selling out fast because people love them more. Than having so many and you get some spoiling on you.
With time, you can then introduce a few more that you notice people are always requesting for.

Right! I hate that saying, because that easily be said about everything that’s on the market. There’s countless different brands of juice, t-shirts, glassware, pots/pans, yet people still purchase ALL of them. Useful products will never be “overdone”

@@jodziebear665 that’s entirely up to you… what I recommend is learn about your skin, understand ingredients that work for you and then look for a brand that uses ingredients that work. It’s not easy I agree! I would never tell you buy from me because I know that feeling of not being able to find something that suits. That’s why samples are important, you can test and try. I did this for 15 years and then just ended up wasting so much money. Btw - I suffer with sensitive skin & psoriasis. Common mistake ppl think is skincare cures psoriasis…fact…it’s an immunity condition.

Do you have to send your products to a Lab to certificate them? Because in Italy you have to operate in a controlled chemistry lab or pay another Company to investigate the safety of anything even soap or candles. And if so, is It expensive to pay an external Lab ?

You would need CPSR and need to follow Goods manufacturing process along with product information file etc each country has diff set of rules
