  • Welcome to Jason Does Things!
Today we check out a beach I like to call the "South End" beach. I wanted to mix things up so I brought out the pulse induction.
I'll probably do a review on the Sea Hunter Mk2 at some point, but for a fairly old school detector, I really enjoy it.
We did pull a lot of junk today, but that's to be expected swinging pulse.
Hope you enjoy todays outing and as always, Happy Hunting!
    Gear used:
Garrett Sea Hunter Mk2 Pulse Induction
Anderson's Rods Carbon Fiber detector straight shaft
Dune titanium sand scoop with carbon fiber travel shaft
    Gray Ghost finds pouch
    GoPro Hero 9 footage

Not often, I find another detectorist using the sea hunter. My favorite detector in salt water. I set mine up with a single piece carbon shaft and wear the head on a belt. Much easier to use with the small coil in deep water.

It’s a great machine, especially when there’s low tide dips and troughs. I put the straight shaft on mine as well (just not pictured in the thumbnail)
Thank you for watching! I’ll be sure to make more videos with the SH2 ✌️😊

First thing I thought about was Seinfeld, Wow, that is very old school detector.Always thought about getting one, but went with a Fisher pulse and then CZ-21, Really like the CZ in the water,
    Thanks for sharing 🌊🌊

Cool! The CZ was on my radar and I went with the SHm2 because of the price.
Yep, when George rescues the whale 😂 good stuff!

How is the volume on those submersible headphones? Does it bother you when the waves are not so noisy? Thx

The volume is just right under water, unless it’s a very small faint target. Above the water it’s quite loud and clear. Sometimes on a quiet stretch of sand I’ll hit a penny and almost get startled 😄

Ive yet to see anyone who uses this machine bury a target a foot or more down and see how deep it punches
