Judge Mathis showed that woman absolute respect while she was coming off a bit disrespectful. He saw her worth. This was an amazing case. I wished the woman well
I can totally relate to her experiences because both of my parents were "crack addicts". I would be so embarrassed by them especially my mother and the jokes they would say to me and my siblings. I overcame that situation in my life by finishing school and getting a trade in Manufacturing and now I'm doing much better than yesterday for my wife and two children. I'm too blessed to be stressed
After watching this sad case, I called my father and mother up and told them how much I loved them and thanked them for being positive influences in my life.
Even more heartbreaking to observe our society's behaviors that make our environment fertile for the development of substance abuse and other forms of addiction.
I Love that Judge Mathis was being understanding and non-judgmental with the defendant the entire time, it was probably one of the reasons that motivated her to get help when he offered it
I agree there was no reason to kick her when she is obviously down. Even her daughter that was suing her didn't do that. Hopefully the mom is in a better place in her life now.
I'm so happy to hear that she completed the rehab and have been sober ever since. JM handled her perfectly and that's what made her willingly. I can see that she regrets ever taking her first hit.
I did not think she would take offer for rehab and definitely she would not complete. There I go judging again! 🥴 Be supportive and hope and pray for the best. Praise Jehovah! She put her best foot forward. ♥️

To see the mother-daughter hug as well as an update about the mother completing rehab melted my heart! Sending continuous prayers to the both of them. 🙏🏽🥰
Prayers for the mother and her daughter. Drug addiction is a powerful, life-threatening stronghold that's not easy to subdue. Judge Mathis extended grace and some compassion to the mother because she was at least honest. The rehab update was positive, so there's always hope for healing.

What a powerful show, regardless of the behaviors of the mother the daughter turned out so well and is still open to A mother daughter relationship as long as it doesn’t interfere with her life. I’ve been watching Judge a Mathis for many years and I’ve never watched a case that made me cry and pray at the same time. I just started to pray for total healing for this mother. Now if he can show the same respect all the other guests that have been on the show and putting great efforts to stay clean that would be great.
