    "DON'T LOOK DOWN!" as Kathryn continues to look down. Kids these days. I didn't go to Partnach gorge while I was there, but I went to a very similar spot near Interlaken, Switzerland called Aare Gorge, and you're right, it is a lot of fun.

Did not deter us we walked all the way around the rim up there and the view!!?? Breathtaking! we even found two bottles of beer tucked in the snow. We took one and left the other for some other lucky hikers. Maybe you’ll find some Almdudler in the snow, you never know!

    Hello from southern Germany. Garmisch Partenkirchen is a nice city with much history in a beautiful scenery. Sad you failed to see the eibsee, it's stunning and we call it the Bavarian caribic. It's amazing how American people like the city of Garmisch Partenkirchen. An absolutely must hike ist the Zugspitze (apex. 23 km to hike) or going to the Alpspitze. You missed a little bit more than the Eibsee. And there are many beautiful spots in Germany, especially in Bavaria to. Thanks for the video and the reminder for the typical Bavarian things. Greetings from Alex & Markus

    Wow!!! It's like you had the gorge, the restaurant, and the hut to yourselves!! Loved that you had to walk back through the gorge to get out - different perspective than what you saw walking in. Also, so funny as you started to talk about the town, I immediately thought of Leavenworth just before you did. Got to visit there briefly for a couple hours a few summers ago on our way from Seattle to Lake Chelan. This place looks MUCH better!!! Thanks again for sharing!! #travelenvy

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  Год назад +1

      The gorge was pretty quiet when we got there, but about half way through there was a school group of at least 50 kids! And yes both the restaurant and hut were very empty...only 1 or 2 other couples there. That's why we sound like we're almost whispering 😂 Yeah Leavenworth is really cool, but it doesn't have anything on these towns. Although we did say to each other that after being to both Leavenworth does do a good job with their architecture and feel.
      Thank you!
