Disney World In Pictures 1991

For the fifth in my Disney World In Pictures series, I dove into the Mike In Motion archives and found these awesome pictures from my 1991 trip to Walt Disney World.1991 was the 20th anniversary of Disney World. The Magic Kingdom had the 20th Anniversary Surprise Celebration Parade. Epcot had Surprise in The Skies. MGM Studios was still doing the Star Of The Day celebration and the day I was there, it was Nell Carter best known for the TV show, Gimme A Break. I also have some great photo's from the Back Lot Tour. Back in the day, there used to be around a hundred prop vehicles that lined the tour. Prior to boarding the tram, they used to take you through a props building, that is where I got the shot of the giant sneaker from Honey I Blew Up The Kid. That is also where the set from the Tonight Show was on display. In 1991 they made good use of inflatable characters. They were used in the 20th Anniversary Surprise Celebration Parade, at Epcot in Surprise in the Skies, and even during the fireworks at MGM Studios. During the show, a giant Mickey would inflate and shoot fireworks from his hand. I really hope you enjoy these through back photo's from an awesome year at Walt Disney World, 1991!
