Visited Melbourne last year in April and I thought it was stunning AC/DC lane was a nice touch the old Victorian train station is visually beautiful and I had to go to the China town area the food was immense 🤘🤘 visited Lorne, Ararat, Geelong and stayed in Bacchus marsh with my sister and her family went to queenscliffe and visited the fort there can't remember the names of the other places but remember the walk along the lerderderg trail and Erskine falls I absolutely loved Australia it's just the flight time over there,,,,.....oooofffff it's a long one lol. Merry Christmas Australia love from England 👍👍 oh ye went to kinetin too where they've just bought some land and having a house built so remote and beautiful.

I once lived with a friend at Geelong and at Torque. Beautiful areas to raise a family. I am originally from Samoa, but now residing in Auckland, New Zealand with my wife and two kids against my will..lol! I still long to live in Melbourne again.

@@itsmeanne yes I agree. NZ is a beautiful country. You wake up on a beautiful sunny morning, look outside and the colours of everything look amazing, everywhere you go the view is picturesque..it's naturally beautiful. My only complaint is that it's boring and not as lively as Melbourne. I know my wife is right holding me back but I'm always a selfish type that generally do major things on my own but end up in chaos..lol. so maybe just watching Melbourne on RUclips is enough to satisfy my ego..😆.

Beautiful people and the city. I dreamt of seeing Melbourne ever since I was a kid just to see Melbourne Cricket Ground and Rod Laver Arena. My luck took me to this place in 2006( CWG ).This video has refreshed my memories of this great place.

Nice video, I used to live in Spotiswood right next to the west gate bridge in the early 1960s. Wish I could return one day, it’s changed so much. Nice music also. ( new world I assume )

I have already subscribe, I went out in 1960 lived in Yarraville, Maidstone then Spotiswood at 21 Forrest st. then returned to UK in late 1962.
In Maidstone we lodged with a Mrs Kelly ( a descendant of Ned Kelly )
I used to go and spend a lot of Weekends with the scouts camp site in Gembrook and also down in Anglesea on the Great coast road.
Great ! I will film Maidstone for you and around Forrest street ..Lots of things are changed around here although I came in 1984 old commision Housing is disapearing and and blocks are getting very expensive .. Average Block of land around Braybrook or Maidstone goes for around $800.000, Most of the time its subdivided for 2/3 Townhouses.. Braybrook and Maidstone are places I have grown up in and will definitely put in on Film soon before most old Houses get demolished. Thanks for comment and all the best from Here

2:33 when you turned to flinders street which direction was that from!? Just asking because their are lots of different directions. When I go to the city I catch the train too southern cross station mostly with my dad then we just head our way around

Hi Mark ,Thankyou for your coment. Regarding Travel from Sydney to Melbourne I havent had any experience as previously I have only travelled by car and Bus. Im sure Train would be a good option knowing that you can walk around and stretch your legs from time to time rather than bein stuck to your sit for 12 hours, There are many options to consider when flying to Melbourne relatively cheap and saving yourself lots of time and energy. I would definitely choose flying next time. As I only started my You Tube channel recently I havent made many videos as yet ,but i will do my best to cover these destinations in the near future. At 2:35 you went into the left turn lane on Flinders St as you clearly were trying to get around that dirty big queue of drivers going straight in the centre lane.
You then changed lanes at 3:01 to go back into the centre lane as your intention was to go straight all along.
Do you understand that this is what probably causes delays in the first place and traffic to build up in that centre lane. I totally get what you were trying to do and I often do this myself to avoid queuing. But having thought about this video and watching it a few times I thought to myself "Is it really worth the effort"?
Some would say it is rude or bad driving even. It is perfectly legal though. What are your thoughts?

exactly.. years of experience and chicky manouvers ..tunnel vision is impossible in this area ..chucking a leftie would have made me go through St.kiLDA Rd and back to Queens followed by WestGate entrance not so much interesting and prolonged :)
