For me, Diana Damrau and lldebrando d'Arcangelo are one of the best performers in current opera scene. They sing and act brilliantly. The production is also excellent. It is adapted to current times but still respect the tradition and the time of this story that is the time of Mozart and Beaumarchais. Great!

Have always loved Diana Damrau but Ildbrando is a revelation!!!! Listening to him is like having warm chocolate poured all over you................Scrummy. A lovely rich strong voice.
I will, don't worry ;) I can't watch it either... :( I have satellite, but I only get a Spanish classical music channel and Mezzo, which is great, but they never broadcast anything with Diana in it.
lol i've been trying to figure out her height from eye [yeah, i'm a creep, aren't i?] and she's like a few inches < Ildebrando.. so I'm guessing 5 feet 5 inches or 5 feet four?
