The death of Johnny Ringo still remains something of a mystery also. Finding Ringo with a gunshot to the temple led some people to claim he committed suicide because he was exhausted from running from Doc and chasing after Wyatt. A second story is that Wyatt and he finally went face to face with Wyatt and lost. The third version is basically what you saw on the screen. The characters were all people who actually existed. fun fact, every time you see Ike Clanton on screen, played brilliantly by Stephe Lang, who you might recognize in the movie Avatar, Stephen is drunk of his *ss, he's that dedicated of an actor, since Ike would be drunk off his *ss.
"I'm your huckleberry Ringo" replied the cheerful doctor "That's just my game". From the 1929 book "Tombstone: An Iliad of the Southwest" That's where they took it from.

@jtoland2333 The original unedited writer's copy of the script apparently says "Huckleberry" and was taken from a 1927 source (apparently taken from older sources) that states Doc said "Huckleberry". What he actually said is likely lost to history.
@@gk5891 He said Huckleberry. It is an actual expression. It means "I'm the man for the job." The hucklebearer thing is made up. It isn't true, it is just repeated internet nonsense.
Dude! You have caught more details in this movie more than any other reactors I’ve seen! Yes, read more on this, you’ll love it. Wyatt’s grandson was in this movie. A lot of cool facts about the characters and about making the movie.
Tombstone, Arizona, USA. A real place, a real story (basically). Wyatt Earp was a notoriously ruthless cop from Dodge City, Kansas. Criminals across the country knew of Wyatt Earp and fear him. The saying "Get the hell out of Dodge!" came from criminals telling other criminals about Wyatt, and to stay away from Dodge City. True story. I hate westerns, but Tombstone is different. Val Kilmer was born to play Doc Holiday.
1:10 - That John Wayne movie was Big Jake. 😂 That's one of my favorite John Wayne movies, and that scene burnt into my memory as a kid too. But he wasn't shaving him. Lol John Wayne's two sons in the movie are his sons in real life. And his grandson in the movie is his grandson in real life.. Your dad had great taste in movies.
The real story behind the war between the Earps, Doc, and the Cowboys was so much wilder than this movie shows. It literally almost kickstarted a second Civil War. There's actually a great documentary on Netflix about it right now called Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War. Great watch that gives an overview of how much crazier those times were. Also, I am so tired of people blaming the women in this movie. Doc was a grown man who was responsible for his own decisions. He was going to die and it wasn't in his nature to waste away. Kate knew that - she knew him better than anyone. And Virgil's wife was in the middle of being told her husband might lose his arm, which in those days was a death sentence. She snapped at Wyatt, so what? Sorry his feelings were hurt but her husband was potentially dying ffs.
The conversation in Latin between Ringo and Holliday has implied meaning beyond it's literal translation, but in modern day English, it goes (loosely) as follows: Wyatt: He's drunk Doc: I'm more honest when I'm drunk. Ringo: You better watch your mouth. Doc: Tell it to someone who cares, I don't. Ringo: Maybe you need to be taught a lesson. Doc: It's your funeral. That being said, "Open Range" is another really good western film you should check out! Starring Kevin Costner & Robert Duvall. Tho Tombstone has always been a fave of mine! The movie was filmed at Old Tucson in Tucson, AZ (I was actually there at the time during filming back in 1993), which is about 70 miles north of the actual town of Tombstone, which still exists to this day and has many of its original buildings still standing.

Soap existed! It was homemade out of lard. Also, "I'm your huckleberry" means "I'm the man for the job" or sometimes, depending who you say it to, means "I'm your buddy". I saw another commenter mention "hucklebearer". A lot of people, including me, thought that's what he said during his fight with Johnny Ringo. It would have been awesome if he had, because it would have added a deeper meaning! But Kilmer has said the line was always huckleberry. I think I heard a rumor that the script is online somewhere. Many places had anti Chinese organizations because the general public thought they were taking jobs away from everyone. But in actuality, the jobs they took were dangerous (building the railroads, working with explosives, etc). When you said you hoped Wyatt would slap Billy Bob Thorton, I had to laugh because I knew what was coming! 😂 Johnny Tyler was a real guy, and headed up a local gambling ring. The incident did happen, but in reality it happened a few years later. I think it was a wise move to include it in the movie, because it showed us how Wyatt dealt with guys like that (And Ike. What a little punk). Lots of reactors misunderstand Lou's yelling at Wyatt. She isn't mad, she's upset because Virgil has been shot, she's scared, and Wyatt won't stfu. Her reaction is a normal one. That's all. I'll step aside and let everyone else chime in now! 😊

Kevin Costner filmed his own version of these events called Wyatt Earp. The script and dialogue is not as gangsta as this flick. But it is a much more historically accurate and shows more of their family background. The Earps despite being lawmen also did a bit of crime in their time. Pretty much their "wives" were part time prostitutes which leads into some hysterically funny situations. Also Wyatt and Josephine were getting it in well before Maddie passed away.
OK so that explains Morgan being so happy about the hookers when they arrived. Kevin Costner I’m not the biggest fan of. He comes off kinda like my shit don’t stink. But maybe I’d just how I read his face. I’m curious to see that version just to see a more historical portrayal but this one is just so damn hard in tombstone
The reason docs said now thats funny is because he always thought he would die with his boots on and he dired in a hospital bed with no boots. In real.life vergal was shot and 1 or 2 months later morgan was killed an wyatts revenge started. And when wyatt killed curly bill that really happened like that and wyatt wasn't hit
just to comment on Billy Zane showing up, you should check out Tales From The Crypt: Demon Night if you haven't seen it. Billy Zane is the villain and he is awesome in it. Also has Jada Pinkett and a bunch of other actors including the dumb cowboy Doc winked at in this movie.

fun fact, every time you see Ike Clanton on screen, played brilliantly by Stephe Lang, who you might recognize in the movie Avatar, Stephen is drunk of his *ss, he's that dedicated of an actor, since Ike would be drunk off his *ss.
Well damn. Note you mention it hits eyes were really glassy
A top tier western. Period.
Indeed
All the main cast mustaches are the real deal! Except Beehan because he had other obligations where he needed to be clean shaven.
Beehan was a punk so he deserved to be hairless lol
Roofin jobs are tough in tombstone.
“You robbing or gambling?”
“Nah. I’m a roofer babaaaay”
Lmao
Try SILVERADO next. Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, Kevin Kline, Danny Glover. Great western! 😊
One been suggested Silverado spot do it’s definitely coming
Huckleberry = Pall Bearer.
"I'm your huckleberry Ringo" replied the cheerful doctor "That's just my game". From the 1929 book "Tombstone: An Iliad of the Southwest" That's where they took it from.
Oh that’s dope. Thanks do it that info
The Gun analogy was hilarious 😂😅...
21:14 - The guy that plays Ike Clanton plays the main bad guy in Avatar.
Blew my mind, because he's shredded in Avatar and is almost unrecognizable to his Ike character.
He is such a sniveling coward in this that it really is hard to believe
I'm your huckleberry" means "I'm the one for the job." or “I'm the right person for the job.” Basically, if someone asks you if you can do something, you can respond with “I'm your huckleberry, it is also a reference to ill carry your casket to your grave
First part is correct. Has nothing to do with a casket, though.
Huckle is the handle on a coffin
So what Doc was saying to Johnny Ringo was
I'll be your Huckle Bearer
Thats such a cool thing for him to say
Huckle Bearer is a Deep South expression consistent with Doc's origin. It's equivalent to Pallbearer.
That's true, but Val Kilmer said the script said it was Huckleberry. Too bad, because that would have added a whole other layer!
@jtoland2333
The original unedited writer's copy of the script apparently says "Huckleberry" and was taken from a 1927 source (apparently taken from older sources) that states Doc said "Huckleberry".
What he actually said is likely lost to history.
This is absolutely untrue. It is just internet bullshit and has been debunked by the script, the director, and Val Kilmer himself. In writing.
@@gk5891 He said Huckleberry. It is an actual expression. It means "I'm the man for the job." The hucklebearer thing is made up. It isn't true, it is just repeated internet nonsense.
I would love to watch a movie with this guy. He had me cracking up the whole time. Good stuff. 😂
Never a dull time. The energy overfloweth
Yo I care about this love story ….. I just care about doc MORE !
Dude you are the best !!!!
Doc it the truth. I would actually say the real love story in this movie is doc being the best friend a person could have
Dude! You have caught more details in this movie more than any other reactors I’ve seen! Yes, read more on this, you’ll love it. Wyatt’s grandson was in this movie. A lot of cool facts about the characters and about making the movie.
I try. I like to catch as much detail as possible. I’ve been reading into this and there so much dopeness in this
Tombstone, Arizona, USA.
Hope it dont rain!!!! Hahahahaha u got me laughin on that line. The real theater still has the holes lol
I’m telling you
Wyatt Earp is awesome. Then Doc Holiday OUTSHINES him. It’s nuts. If you have one friend like Doc Holiday you’ve won at life
Indeed my friend
1:10 - That John Wayne movie was Big Jake. 😂
That's one of my favorite John Wayne movies, and that scene burnt into my memory as a kid too. But he wasn't shaving him. Lol
John Wayne's two sons in the movie are his sons in real life. And his grandson in the movie is his grandson in real life.. Your dad had great taste in movies.
Thank you. If it was a western, war movie, or Charles Bronson he watched
Wyatt Earps " Was addicted to laudanum. They drank it for "pain" .
His " Wife" was addicted to laudanum, not Earp
I assume it had some form of hard substance in it
"Thats a problem"🤣😂🤣😂
It was
Shout out to your dad 🇺🇸 for his service! 😊
He was a proud marine. Indeed
There are two movies I saw every weekend during their theatrical run.
Tombstone and The Crow.
See them both.
I’ve never seen the crow. Believe Mr that is on the list and coming.
The conversation in Latin between Ringo and Holliday has implied meaning beyond it's literal translation, but in modern day English, it goes (loosely) as follows:
Wyatt: He's drunk
Doc: I'm more honest when I'm drunk.
That conversation is so dope. Thanks for that information. Open Range has been added to the list
@@looneysuniverse Right tho?! No problem, just subbed! Loved your reaction & lookin forward to it!
great reaction! yeah I love what some other reactor said "Ike's crew is so soft.. getting hit on the head with their pistols and stuff.. 'you got a fight comin' they're so soft" lol
Thank you. Softer than cotton
I am a huge cowboys fan.....dont hold it against me....its been almost 30 years since we have done anything......Cowboys fans deserve your prayers....
They deserve nothing from me lol. I pray y’all continue to fail purely due to the fact the cowboys fans around me don’t shut up. But my team which sucks ass was beautiful until we got an owner that ruined them completely. So upsetting. I wish we could have the high hopes and and find a way to lose like the cowboys but sadly we just find ways to lose with no hope
@@looneysuniverse I want you to know...that when I die....I hope the cowboys can be the pallbearers at my funeral....so the can let me down one.....last....time
pretty dark but thats what is being a cowboys ran is like....no matter the loudmouth dumbasses.....
The Cowboys 🤠 Red slash on the side on the belt buckle!✨ The outlaw josey Wales movie!✨ Red legs of wearing very fine leather around the buttom legs!✨ Or the gangmembers colors very impressive beautiful made movie came around this time period of very grand movie as made!!✨ Both Red designs very much inspired this very impressive beautiful made western movie!✨ My great inspiring wisdom for today!✨,Have a very impressive beautiful 😍 day.😍👏
Great reaction!!!
Thank you
Soap existed!
No need to step aside. The information was great homie. Thank you for all of it.
Lmfao 🤣 the way you said " the son of a bitch " and your face when you said it got me dying over here 🤣
Came from the soul lol. Really don’t like that guy.
@@looneysuniverse I would too man . I got to respect that level of dislike for a team related reason .. I'm a hockey fan diehard .. we hold grudges til a few generations after we die lol
Oh yes the grudge will never die
Lol this movie has been a favorite since it came out . I've watched like every reaction to it on RUclips and tbh this is the most I've laughed through and enjoyed. Actually reminds me of showing buddies this movie back in the day for the first time . Liked and subscribed! Peace ✌🏻!
Thank you. I’m trying to make fun videos to relax to
great NeoWestern , great Reaction 👍

Salt and vinegar kettle chips. They were amazing
@@looneysuniverse Thx Sir
Yeah, people went from hearing gun shots and being nosy to hearing gun shots and pulling out phones to record what they see so they can watch it back later!
So true
The Phantom appears when he wants, and where he wants.
Apparently lol
Ok.. LMAO. I just had to pause during your intro not even 1 minute in.. congratulations on finding a safe outlet for your mental condition. Hopefully it enables you to make some good scratch, keeping a roof over your head and crack pipe out of your mouth. All love and I'm only playing, love the energy. 👍😎😆❤️
Lmao
Great and very entertaining reaction to one of my favorite movies of all time. Val Kilmer is that dude.
Indeed he is
Loved your reaction!
Thank you
Kevin Costner filmed his own version of these events called Wyatt Earp.
This is a movie no matter how many times i've seen it, if i'm scanning and come across it, i finish it
I’m on that same thought now
The reason docs said now thats funny is because he always thought he would die with his boots on and he dired in a hospital bed with no boots. In real.life vergal was shot and 1 or 2 months later morgan was killed an wyatts revenge started. And when wyatt killed curly bill that really happened like that and wyatt wasn't hit
Hahahahaha to call billy Zane the guy from the phantom is the funniest shit ever
He’s in everything
just to comment on Billy Zane showing up, you should check out Tales From The Crypt: Demon Night if you haven't seen it. Billy Zane is the villain and he is awesome in it. Also has Jada Pinkett and a bunch of other actors including the dumb cowboy Doc winked at in this movie.
You had me until you said Jada pinkett was in it. I can’t stand that person lol. But otherwise sounds cool
@@looneysuniverse lol. Zane is so good it's worth it
More for the list Goodfellas, Casino, Warrior, The Accountant, Anchor Man, Pitch Perfect, Forest Gump, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, Apollo 13, The Martian, The Replacements, MIB. I got more, but I may have went to far already. 😂😂😂
Some are on the list but some I’ve never heard of. Intriago
Watch Goodfellas and Dances with Wolves back to back. You will be witnessing all time great Cinema with two films that came out the same year. 1990
The Outlaw Josey Wales is a must
Added to the list. Thank you
Obviously we all love Doc.
Val Kilmer KILLED this role.
But if you like history, Wyatt yelling "NO" in the river, that happened.
Kurt Russell liked the role so much he named his son Wyatt.
Wyatt Russell is also a pretty good acter.
You hate cigarettes? You just earned a like & subscribe! 😂 BTW- the reaction was entertaining as Hell.. that had something to do with as well!😊
I do indeed. Can’t even be around it at this point in my life. Happy you enjoyed
