Days of Future Passed was a timeless, groundbreaking album. From 1967 on the Decca label, it was the first true stereo album and no other group or artist from the time could have been better for it than the Moody Blues. It is depressing to think that this came out 55 years ago because it makes me feel old for remembering hearing it for the first time. A new genre of music that would become known as progressive rock, among other names. I fell in love with the Moody Blues when I heard this and my love of their music is as great today as it was then. It is nice to see new generations discovering and appreciating their work. The joy and awe of the Moody Blues will continue for generations to come.
I am 100% with you. Only I didn't hear it the first time in 1972. I was at a party in the Colorado Mountains, and a little Rocky Mountain High. Returning home in Seattle I bought the album, Days of Future Past and every album they made. I also have them on DVD and still listen and watch on You Tube. Today I get high just listening and remembering.

It kind of puts you back the first time you had your little heart broken by that first boy or girlfriend. When it seemed like more then you could get over and you wanted to cry out the way that he does in this song. Beautiful and bitter sweet at the same time.
This song brings back so many memories, Morenkeiji as I grew up in that 1960s era. I might have said so before in the comments' section of another vid on your channel, but I'll repeat it again. I simply love the fact that you usually let a song play through entirely without stopping so many times to immediately give your reaction, unnecessarily interrupting the flow of the song. Other channel owners doing the same thing that you do Morenkeiji I find so annoying to watch as they constantly pause the song every minute or so as, for some reason, they just cant wait until the entire song has completed before providing their comments. Frankly, I find your channel the best! Please don't stop what you're doing, and how you go about filming your vids. Other channel owners can learn from you as your subscriber list says it all!
I first heard Justin"s voice on a car radio in the late 60s. The song was Tuesday Afternoon. I knew immediately this was a music style I wanted more of. Years later I was in England (my parents home) and I traveled down to Cobham to see where the Moodies lived. Magical place much like their music. Eventually I had the privilege of meeting Justin and the rest of the band. An exceptional group of men that produced music that is timeless and soothing to the Soul. Mo, you are dressed and have the look for that beautiful song... Good luck.
Beautiful lady , beautiful music ! What a combo ! Cheers !!
I had forgotten what a beautiful piece this was. Thank you.
Girl in our day, there were songs that took a whole side album. Approx 22 minutes. We were blessed with the best music in our generation. I feel sorry for the young people today. No self expression. Everything auto tuned. God bless sis! 🙏🏼
I couldn't agree with you more. Love songs were about romance.
I'm a metalhead and techno fanatic, and I still say this is the greatest piece of music ever written.
Such a wonderful thing to watch a beautiful woman get emotionally impressed by an incredible song. This is a masterpiece by Moody Blues, apart from the heartfelt vocals the flute solo and the ending orchestration leave me with tears running down my cheeks. Thankyou so much Moree!
I was just a young kid when I heard this for the first time on the radio... I remember it, I was asleep,, and I woke up to it, and it had sorta taken over me, it was a pleasant musical experience, the kind that you feel... hard to explain
This always reminds of the knights of the round table, king author on his epic journey to find chalice of the last supper 🖒..
Me too! That was where my imagination took me back then. White satin sheets or gin never occurred to me. Lol.
I got chills right along with you, young lady. Thank you for letting me hear it again through your ears and heart.
My wife's -- now deceased -- MOST FAVORITE Soulful rendition of this era...
'nuf said, ALOHA 4 now...😎
I remember when this first came out. Mesmerizing. They are still one of my top 5 bands of all time.
"From the Beginning" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer is another great love song I bet you will like.
😍 yep!!!!
David Booth - aahhh yeah !!
A sensually beautiful young woman going deep in her soul and she said.."This is beautiful" brought a tear to this old man's eye...May you have peace and love for the rest of your life.
God Bless You.
It kind of puts you back the first time you had your little heart broken by that first boy or girlfriend. When it seemed like more then you could get over and you wanted to cry out the way that he does in this song. Beautiful and bitter sweet at the same time.
Listen to them when they were young, full of hope. It's way different.
Thank you so much🙏❤️
@@MorenikejiTaiwo yes it's much appreciated thx♥️🪆
Totally agree!
I think they stop and comment so they avoid copyright issues and have to pay the artist every time the video is played.
"I don't want it to end." Yes. That.
She's stunning. And the VERSION of the song is magnificent.
I first heard Justin"s voice on a car radio in the late 60s. The song was Tuesday Afternoon. I knew
immediately this was a music style I wanted more of. Years later I was in England (my parents home)
and I traveled down to Cobham to see where the Moodies lived. Magical place much like their music.
Eventually I had the privilege of meeting Justin and the rest of the band. An exceptional group of men
that produced music that is timeless and soothing to the Soul. Happy to see this young lady's reaction
to this wonderful and ever unique melody that crosses time from so long ago.
In Conscious Health - Charles
Love that this young girl likes this song. A beautiful, timeless, almost classical piece.
"almost"!?!!
I love the fact she closes her eyes and really listens to the words 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
It's always wonderful to see a new generation fall in love with the music I grew up with. They always seem surprised, but also pleased.
Rock and Roll will never die.
Talent never dies just bad music, and this song will live forever.
DITTO
The musical epics. One of my favorite old songs, still gives me goosebumps
I love how she said, "This is beautiful...." Because it is.
This is one of the most Epic rock/Classical songs ever written. I was glad to be young when this was popular.
When I was 2months old I had a dream of the song an that was the song in my dream 😂😎🙏👍
A beautiful song, and album. But your facial expressions when you smile make this even better!
I'm so impressed with you, that besides 2 small comments, you stayed quiet & took in the music listening to the whole song & loved your facial expressions, your eyes just lit up while certain sections got to you. Your the 1st reactioner that actually listened to the music before commenting on it. So enjoyed watching your eyes light up while listening to this amazing song that was released in the 70's, it's always been an impressive song with amazing music !
This is what we called in those days MUSIC.......!!!!
I was so proud of you for not stopping this song at any time, how could you stop perfection!?
The British never have really been artist's more poets and musicians and in my opinion the best.
