I totally get the burnout. This 9 grid strategy seems like a breath of fresh air. But the content for stories and reels, that's where the challenge lies. I’ve started to rely on boost app social for some cool content ideas and the response has been amazing!

I'm really interested in this strategy! It feels like treating Reels as top of the funnel, your Profile as your landing page, and Stories as your nurture sequence. I think I'm going to give this a try - it doesn't sound overwhelming at all!

Thanks for this great video! I did something similar in my IG account, but instead of using a 9-grid strategy, I use a 3-grid pinned strategy.
My top 3 posts are permanently pinned (a feature IG rolled out a few months ago) and are very strategic posts: post 1 is about me; post 2 is how to work with me; and post 3 is testimonials from my clients.
I focus my content strategy on creating Reels (which I also post onto my feed; they show up underneath the first row which is permanently pinned) and posting Stories. Seems to work. My account is small though 😉

This is brilliant! And even though I doubt I'll archive all my work, I was reminded of how I haven't been doing a good job creating all those different kinds of posts for my feed. I need to do a little more selling and enjoy doing stories.

Yup, I've adopted it for my account (it's only been about a month or so), but I've already seen the increased engagement in reels and stories. I'm also using the grid style to promote current offers by adding on top of the grid (or will replace the grid during launches and then revert back to the original) -- don't see myself going back anytime soon LOL

How about posting 9 posts like the strategy you mentioned, but keeping the rest of the content as well? Like hoping new people mainly looking at the last 9 posts? You think that might work too? That's quite easy to test I guess so I might give it a try.
Do we actually have to archive everything we have? Or can we just create the 9 grid and stop posting there?
Great tips but any suggestions on how to implementing this since I have an online women's boutique. Are you saying to delete the 9 feed posts and replace often. 🤔
If you're using the 9 Grid Strategy, you'd keep the 9 feed posts consistent and focus on other features, like engaging through Stories or selling in the DMs.

I'm gonna have to really think about the best way to integrate this, but I think I'll likely use it for our accounts....only I'll probably use 12 instead of 9 (to more fully fill the profile page and allow for the much more complex approach I'm taking to simplify things for our audiences.

I’m planning on starting the new 9 grid. I’m creating 9 targeted posts and creating a way for my customers to book a call, go to my sales page (I don’t have one so I need to make that) and go to my website or fb group. Then I need to have my reels and story strategy set. So I’m thinking I launch in a couple of weeks. Maybe for Black Friday. Lol

Going to the extreme of archiving all old posts feels like an overreaction that's not worth the time to me. I just removed all expectations of posting frequency, and communicated that to my community. Values, ways to work with you, and social proof should be things you're sharing anyway, and are things I do. So when I go a few months without posting, the first 9 posts on the feed still has all this stuff, but I can still post a feed post when I have an idea for one, and people still scroll to and engage with older posts all the time so I don't know why I would cut them off from that.

This is such a good idea. I don't even need to think about it. I'm definitely trying it. Most people are not looking at feed posts anyway. They are spending more time on REELS and STORIES (video) It makes sense.
It takes so much time to create IG content - goo☺d content! That it stops me from creating over there, sadly.
I have a little over 5k. I'm excited to see how it goes. I'll start off by using popular posts then go for a more cohesive look later. Thanks for this. It's actually a great idea for my business model. I'm sure there will be cons --- I'll cross that bridge when I get there...

I love the idea of this strategy and would love to try it … but honestly it scares the **** out of me! 😂 Ig stories have always been the most intimidating and stressful part of ig for me 🤦🏼♀️ and for sure my weakest link
Even tho I know this now, I’d still feel like they didn’t use their insta…instagram would have to jump on it and make it a thing for me to use it I think.
