You can use a drill by hand or drill press, it's pretty cool the patterns that can be made.

I don't think I would clear stainless, but if I did PPG 2021 clear

I tried doing this on a motorcycle tank and I can’t get the swirls any advice?

Different size brush cups are available, maybe a smaller size or a scotchbrite rolox disc works great too. What is the issue? I would swirl along the radius first then work up to it if thats the issue. Thanks for watching.
