Hello Chris,I just use launch on boot app with wolf launcher come on automatically when I turn on stick .cheers
The only thing is with launch on boot it won’t go to wolf launcher when you press the home button, whereas this way restores that functionality.

To switch back just uninstall the app.

I've got two firesticks after loading Wolf launcher on both I decided to go back on one of them to the original but now have a irritating niggle.
The Amazon launcher starts on a recent tab instead of instead of the normal launch bar, any ideas how to alter!
I think you may need to do a factory reset.

This is turning into more of a pain in the ass than it's worth. Amazon disables launch manager daily for me

I saw someone on Reddit say that powering their stick with their TV's USB port helped. That way, the stick turns off when the TV is turned off, which stops the stick from going to sleep, which seems to be what causes the launcher manager to be disabled. Couldn't say whether it works or not as I don't have one yet, but could be worth a try.

On my firestick 4k max show launcher manager 1.1.2 by my phone and shield show 1.18 also on cube show 1.1.2

Install last night all was good.turn on this morning the launcher manger i con is gone,everything still works remapping etc. very strange.
Perhaps this was a bodged attempt by Amazon to remove the app, but they only managed to remove the icon.

Great video. Hopefully they update/ fix so it will go to custom launcher when fire cube is turned on out of sleep mode without hitting home button
it does go in but can sometimes take few seconds to cover Amazons screen.

Please try restarting your stick and try again, but be warned I don't think launcher manager is working as expected at the moment!

What does this do for the firestick, and how can I stop the video from lagging .
This changes the main menu of the firestick. You can see this in the video. To try to eliminate lagging make sure you have good Wi-Fi connection to the firestick, if you can lower the quality of the stream in the app that you are using.

Worked for a day or 2 on 4k max and completely disappeared. On the cube it screwed up my kodi had to redo it..

Bricked my Firestick 4K Max by deleting Launch Manager while it was still set to Wolf Launcher. Should have switched to stock launcher before deleting Wolf Launcher & Launch Manager. Now my Firestick 4K Max appears to be toast!

How come you uninstall launcher manager 1.1.8 at the beginning and then reinstall it later?
This is because I was demonstrating how to uninstall if you have an older version installed.
