Enjoy part 1 of 4 from a discussion with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo from the recent 2014-2015 Christmas Symposium held at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas. The text she is referencing on mind training, called lojong in Tibetan, was brought to Tibet by Atisha in the 11th century.
Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo practiced under the 8th Khamtrul Rinpoche and became one of the first Westerners to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun. She founded the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery. In February 2008 Tenzin Palmo was given the rare title of Jetsunma (Venerable Master), by His Holiness the 12th Gualwang Drukpa, Head of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage in recognition of her spiritual achievements as a nun and her efforts in promoting the status of female practitioners in Tibetan Buddhism. www.tenzinpalmo...

There are no two consciousness. Only one universal vast sky like consciousness (Spirit) with intelligence. We all are that pure permanent consciousness. Various synonyms are used for universal consciousness e.g. infinite mind, pure awareness, Brahma void, Spirit, permanent awakening etc. by wise and learned people in Hinduism and Buddhism. Yeshi Vod, king of Western Tibet known as the Guge Kingdom near Mt Kailash was attacked by a Muslim king who ruled Pakistan and JK at that time. Ladakh was a part of Western Tibet.
