Like with most radioactive nuclear meltdowns, they can stay quite hot and fluid for several years. I just wish they had encased him in a concrete sarcophagus, like it's best practice in dealing with the aftermath of meltdowns. Its a large message board; how is this that important (and honestly, should Twitter bans be so important that this much discourse is dedicated to them? I mean Brett Kavanaugh...as we speak!!!)? Can people not get their info any other way then social media? There are plenty of other forums/message boards that they could all write to each other on (or actually talk like in person or over the phone; the other use for your pocket brick)...and for shiggles they could even impose a "for fun" 140 character per post limit. If Twitter as a privately owned platform (private toilet stall wall to scrawl insults and innuendo on) no longer want to host extreme political content (regardless of party) that's their right. If they decide to start enforcing more strict guidelines...or just fully enforcing the originals and one person gets banned...followed by a few more, thats not a slippery slope; its those privately owned companies appearing (at the very least appearing to) to remove whatever they think is on the more extreme side of politics. If you haven't noticed, they've been called in to Washington a few times over the last year or so. And usually when private companies or an industry have the threat of the government coming in to regulate, they give er that ole college try and get themselves in better shape so that doesn't happen. Think of it as any other private company concerned with its bottom line.
Hypothetical here: A privately owned local mall allows Alex Jones on site to interview the public with an agreement that he doesn't get too provocative (does he even get crazy anywhere other than his studio or public land?). Alex Jones happens; several times, pushing the envelope. On his fourth visit for interviews he goes full blown Alex Jones and they decide to kick him out and eventually ban him after he cools off, apologizes and does it again. Doesn't the mall have the right to do that? That's not even considering the ways in which he's kinda responsible for making peoples lives worse in the case of the Pizza Place and Sandy Hook families. He can do his thing elsewhere, its not as if he lost his "make money on the internet" card...he just made it harder to use

Twitter, Facebook, RUclips, are private companies that allow the public to occupy them. Kind of like going to the mall. It's not unreasonable for you to be kicked off of these platforms when you are doing things that would get you kicked out of any private property where the public gathers.

Kyle is using the legal definition of harassment, in which your safety or job are threatened. With the corporate oligarchy the right to work has been threatened by them, so that part doesn't hold up as well, but in general if you try to have someone removed from their job that would be considered harassment, and of course if you threaten them with bodily harm that is harassment too, everything else not so much. So no, Alex didn't really harass him, he was just a jackass.
