nerds are always better with everything than the ordinary population of each country. as a German I am already glad if other Germans know all German states (and Germany is a high educated country. Dont ask ordinary people of most less developed countries about their country - in some cases (especially very rural or isolated tribes even dont know the own country they are living in)).
Hi! Your pronunciation was almost fine, keep in mind that some cities have the accent on the first vowel, like Càgliari, Bèrgamo, ìmola or Rìmini. But I know it's hard to remember accents when they're not written (except Forlì coz when the accent goes on the last vowel we remark it), so you did a great job.
Italian here, discovered you recently and been waiting for the italian episode. Born in Agrigento (unfortunately barely out of the list) now living and studying in Milan!
Hi from near Bari. Your pronunciations were nearly all correct, the only thing is that in Italian the "ci" and "ce" are pronounced with an english "Ch", similar to like Cheltenham or charleston
Hi! I'm from Brescia. Fun fact: My city is sometimes called "the Lioness of Italy", because of our loyalty to the Republic of Venice (The Lion) against the Austrians

I did 89%. But I didn't noticed there was the list below, with popumations an cities per region, it would be why easier XD. p.s. but I'm italian, and that make it a lot easier too XD
By the way, this quiz seems a bit outdated: aside of population changes, it didn't include Corigliano-Rossano (born in 2018), while since 2021 Trapani loses part of its territory (and around 8k inhabitants) to Misiliscemi.
Sesto san Giovanni. Sesto refers to the distance (in roman miles) from the major city at which the village is. In fact there are many cities in Italy "quarto" (at the 4th miles), "quinto (at the 5th miles) and "sesto" (at the 6th miles). San Giovanni means st. John, the saint to whom the village church was dedicated

Hello from Busto Arsizio! We would just call it Busto most of the time, but sometimes it gets confusing because there is a smaller town nearby called Busto Garolfo, and sometimes we need to specify. Also, in our local dialect, we literally call them "Big Busto" and "Small Busto" which I think is funny
