well he is carrying big ass weapons, idk if wit h our without weapons. but master chief can throw a grenade at 70 mph so he would be able to throw a sticky pretty fast
NOEHEAD612 he can carry all weapons in the game and can even still move 57 mph. EDIT: the only way to survive in Doom is strike first and Dodge literally everything
The thing that's really depressing about this fight is that on theory it sounds like an absolutely awesome match-up, but then they seem to go out of their way in order to get everything they can wrong on Doomguy. I don't even care so much about "winning" or "losing", since it's just fun to see two great gaming icons go at it, but it's kind of a shame that Death Battle completely dropped the ball on everything Doom-related when they actively pride themselves on their research. Even something as simple as his weapons (What? The Unmaker feeds on human souls, not "demonic energy"!) to something completely made up on the spot (The BFG being just a "gigantic explosion"? The chaingun and pistol using 5mm rounds? No!) to his weaknesses (What? The Chaingun is pinpoint accurate for long-range if you tap it repeatedly!), only a fraction of the factoids and information they give on Doomguy is actually accurate, and I think it really hurts the presentation as a whole.
Master Chief faces about 5 or 6 enemy types, at most 10. I can easily name more than that just from Doom 2. Chief cannot take more damage, as 3 bullets is all it takes to bring him down while rockets shot from a Cyborg superdemon and a gatling cannon mounted on an arachnid mech can't bring down Doom Guy. A few machine guns and some alien nerf guns ("pew pew pew") can't hold a candle to the Super Shotty, Plasma Rifle, Rocket Launcher, or the almighty BFG. When two hits from the rapid-fire plasma rifle gibs demonic imps, you know The Chef can't take anything either. Doom Guy is a great marksman able to hit targets while he circle-strafes faster than his rockets. They also didn't add in the weapons Doom Guy used in Quake when he appeared in Quake 3: Arena. That adds, among other things, a one hit kill long range railgun and a different form of BFG (a rapid fire plasma rocket launcher that shreds everything in front of it). They could at least TRY to hide their bias.
A man who can handle rockets from cyborg demons to the face (rockets he can run faster than) vs a man who can be taken out by a only a few bullets. It really makes perfect sense for the obviously weaker and slower one with far less powerful weapons to win.
demomanchaos he has a shield, guns, invisibility, grenades, and a shield. The spartan serum made him stronger (survived an fall from fucking orbit), faster (can run 50 miles an hour, while the rockets apparently go about ten), and smarter.
all of the things masterchief has can be taken down by damage while doomguys armour doesnt wear down. also doomguy punched threw the demon with one punch. and i think the almighty ruler of the underworld would have harder abs then a space soldier -.-
martin bøje While Doom Guy is faster, the Master Chief is stronger, smarter, and has far faster reaction times. Although I do think that the battle should have been more fast paced. Rising_Star_ The Doom Guy's Mega Armor, can have up to 200% shields. But, they don't regenerate. Which means once there gone, it comes down to armor, of which the Master Chief's is stronger. And the Chief's shields can regenerate, and the armor can survive a fall from orbit. As far as the rest, the Master Chief is stronger, nearly as fast, faster reflexes, stronger armor and body structure, and also has way more luck. Weapon wise, while the Doom Guy has more weapons at a time, all of them are relatively short range, ever the BFG 9000. At anything besides close range, the BFG's slow projectile can be dodged. And in the Book Halo: The Fall of Reach, the MC swatted aside a anti tank missile traveling over Mach 2, causing it to miss. So catching a slow moving rocket is no problem. And as for the very end of the battle, it is canon in Halo to have a fast activated grenade like version of the Bubble shield, and out can toss grenades out of it by having your hand outside of the shield for just a few seconds. All in all, Doom Guy is faster, but lacks in everything else when compared to the MC. Sorry Doom fans, (I'm a fan of Doom myself) but the Chief takes this one in a bud.
Fun bit of trivia about Chief's suit and his augmented body. In the novels, when the early prototypes of the Mjolnir armor were tested, the slightest motions were accelerated to bone-shattering speeds, causing gruesome death as the victim's pain spasms reduced them to a pulp. The augmentations are actually a prerequisite to use the armor for anything other than suicide. Thought you'd find that interesting when you talked about his abilities coming from both augments and the armor. Also, his luck is canon. It's brought up several times throughout the novels, mostly as the idle musings of other characters pondering what makes John so special compared to the other Spartans. That whole motif actually starts when his abduction into the program came down to guessing the outcome of a coin flip, since there were more candidates than there was room in the program.
I find you mentioning that the Chief isn't from hell ironic. He's constantly referred to as "Demon" by the Covenant because of his reputation. And about Master Chief's "luck" he actually is mentioned even in the books as being exceptionally lucky.
Also, at the beginning of Halo 3, Cortana mentions that Master Chief as one more thing than the other spartans : luck so that's my guess about why they said it.
I thought they call the Spartans “Demons” because of their visor, which made them look emotionless and empty. Not because they’re actual demons from Hell.
This was a favorite episode of mine even if I was rooting for Doom Guy. Also, I actually like how in most of your videos you dont know much about the combatants and are open to the analysis and outcome. At first, I thought it somewhat annoying because you would watch fighters and characters I grew up with, like Chun Li, Link, Sonic, Tails, Robocop, Superman ect. And I would be like "Wait! No! How do you not know these people?!" But, as I watched your videos I came to appreciate that because you are unfamiliar with them, I dont have to listen to the common rage we get when we have people who do prefer one over the other and their's loses. And you see it in the comments all the time. Anyways, love the videos and I cannot wait for the next one. Keep up the good work!
See, the difference between the two depend on what you're looking at. If your looking at the Gameplay that you, the player, control then yeah Doom wins because of its ridiculous gameplay actions. If you look at the Canon story feats and history as a character, then definitely Master Chief.
There are some more facts about him which are not covered from Screwattack: His maximum run speed is 819.52 map units / second. Approximately 32 is equal to one meter (based on Doom guy's height in terms of map units.) Therefore he runs about 25.61 meters per second, that is equal to about 57.2879 MPH. The current record for the 100 meter dash is 9.69 seconds and held by Usain Bolt. The Doomguy can run this in about 3.905 seconds, nearly 148% than Usain Bolt. The DOOMGUY is capable of outrunning a Lion, and maintaining that speed. Keep in mind that he can do this in all probability, 800 pounds of equipment. Doom uses two Bytes to measure sector height, allowing for a max. Value of 65536 units, or a height Value between -32768 and 32768. Assuming that Doomguy jumps from one sector at maximum height minus his own player height (56Units) to an adjacent sector at minimum height, he would fall 65480 units. Now, Doomguy takes no falling damage, at least not from any distance the Doom Engine can generate, so this means that he can take a fall of at least two Kilometers and not sustain any damage whatsoever (+ his 800 Pounds of Equipment). DOOMGUY could be the strongest video game character ever.
I love how Halo Fans' fallbacks are " he survived a n-n-nuclear blas-s-st and f-f-fell f-from orbit" Doomguy takes no fall damage. Doomguy just needs ammo to survive his games. MC has to cower behind cover to wait for his shields to regenerate
@@soggyeggroll2003 Two word Doomguy's pistol. It has infinite ammo as well as the glory kills and double jump and a couple more weapons and buffed up versions of all other as well as mods to the weapons so this is like putting a cat against a bear. This is from Doom 2016.
@@soggyeggroll2003 Fall damage is an in-game mechanic, but data is drawn from more canon sources for Death Battle. Canonically, yes, SPARTAN-IIs can survive a fall from orbit because of their nearly indestructible skeletons. Someone in another comment chain mentioned this, so I will too: If you go by in-game mechanics alone, then a stormtrooper can survive a lightsaber strike. Sounds pretty ridiculous, doesn't it? The average SPARTAN-II can run from anywhere between fifty to sixty five miles per hour, putting the Chief roughly on par with DoomGuy. Chief's armor weighs roughly one thousand pounds, on top of his three hundred, making him weigh about one thousand three hundred pounds, approximately five hundred more than Doomguy.
WAIT A DAMNED MINUTE!!!! Quake 3 Arena is just as canon to DOOM and Doomguy as Super Smash Bros and Super Mario Strikers is to Princess Peach! Why didn't they give him any of the weapons and items from Q3A?!?! Like the Lightning Gun, Rail Gun, Nail Gun, or the BFG10K?!?!?!?!?
I hate how slow Doomguy is in this Deathbattle. He can move very fast, and he's always moving around to dodge projectiles! So why is he so slow and standing still in this?
I didn't think about how they made him slow in the fight (though I still believe they took it into consideration), but as a possible justification, maybe he was moving so slowly/staying in one place because his enemy (Master Chief) wasn't yet defeated. Maybe he's one to power through until he reaches victory (and according to the animation, he was very close).
Yeah that was one of many things that annoyed me. Being able to run that fast all the time without getting tired would easily spell doom for Master Chief (no pun intended) (OK, I lied).
***** That seems... extremely out of character for the Doomguy from the games. As a guy who played the Doom games, i can say that not speed strafing an enemy is one of the dumbest moves you can do as the Doomguy, as pretty much every enemy is wickedly fast, so moving extremely fast and circle strafing is one of the essentials. Keeping pace and trying to power through beings like the Cyberdemon is almost a death wish, since he can spam the crap out of rockets that move just as fast as you do, and he can take about 50 hits from those same rockets, so you need to stay on your toes. Other enemies like the Hellknight or the Arch-vile, will destroy you if you go dont use your head and move as fast as possible, especially the "i cant hit you from anywhere with my instant fire up your ass spell" Arch-vile. Come to think of it, the entire philosophy that the Doomguy is all "spray and pray" that Death Battle presumed about the character is very... off. In the Doom games (at least on higher difficulties) if you just run into a open area, guns ablaze, with no strategy, you will die very easily. I often have to think my way through a lot of the later levels, since their so mazy, you have to be strategic about how you play, or else 20 pinky demons will murderstomp you into the ground. Then again... thats just how i always found the best way to play the game, and i will admit, you can spray and pray to victory with enough practice. Despite my gripes, i still really enjoyed this death battle, and especially this Lets Watch. Good Job Ris, cant wait for Peach vs Zelda next week.
Well Ris Grestar before I knew about the Death Battle my oldest Nephew was watching the series and ask me who would win Master Chief or Doomguy and I knew instantly who would win since I have very little knowledge of both character. overall I enjoy watching your Let's Watch Death Battle and I won't spoil any of the matches that you haven't seen :)
In all honesty, this would probably be a draw. Both are incredibly fast, insanely strong, with powerful weapons and quick thinking abilities, but can't take as much punishment as their appearance would let on. The BFG would probably melt Chief like he's butter, but the slow fire rate would give ample time for Chief to retaliate with a faster, more nimble weapon like the Energy Sword or the M90 Shotgun. Doomguy has almost incalculable strength, especially with the Berserk fist, but Chief is pretty strong too. Doomguy is faster slightly on his feet (if novels count since Chief moves like a tank in the games), but Chief has quicker reflexes. Neither can take rockets very well, they are both adept at seeing invisible entities, and neither tires out soon enough for that to play much of a factor. Chief's armor is made of titanium alloy, which makes it susceptible to a lot of the same things that modern tanks are vulnerable to, but Doomguy barely has any armor. Overall, they'd more likely than not just end up killing each other.
+TheGrayMysterious Doomguy went to hell, to hell, and came back, he did not fight aliens he fought demons. , doomguy is on another level and master chief is not winning a guy that runs that fast.
+BohemianGroveify Doom Guy only runs x1.14 faster if me calculations are correct, so while Doom Guy would win in a race, it won't help much in a fight.
CMDR_Kai Gaming The key difference here is agility. Chief can get pretty close to 57 mph, even exceeding it at one point, but only at a dead sprint. Doomguy can run forward, backward, sideways, diagonally and in-between at a constant speed, which lets him do circle-strafes and other advanced movement techniques that Chief has never been shown to be capable of. It's an advantage, but it's probably his only true advantage. everything else would likely just get canceled out along with Chief's abilities.
Don't listen to them! Master Chief would get his ass kicked by Doomguy! (Cuz Doomguy has defeated hell 5 separate times while Master Chief is usually seen with his team! They are right about some things but some stuff you should not listen to!)
Mate chief took on the didact and took a nuke blast and re enterering orbit and just got up to killing and chief is smarter than doomguy so you and your fellow doom fans stfu because he lost to someone who was clearly superior
Might wanna wait on Godzilla vs Gamera, I watched it at SGC and Ben said that they lost the character profiles on his crashed hard drive. I did see the animation, who won, and who's next. But it might take a little bit for Ben to redo the analysis parts.
About the FPS conventions, I think most games I've played usually I wind up finding weapons that'll help later on rather than immediately, or it's hidden away somewhere rather than just being exactly where you need it. I think older games it was up to you if you use certain weapons to make things easier where newer ones, it's closer to just finding the guns the scenario needs right there.
you should probably read the book Fall of reach, were it states that the chief is unbelievably lucky by Dr. Halsley and they iterate it throughout. and is restated in the beginning of halo 3 were Cortona even again states that she picked you due to how lucky you were.
@@histoynerd First doom guy and doom slayer are the same person its confirmed.Hee beat the champion titan(strongest titan in hell) before he became a god with his fists naked. One guy did math with lore and in game statistics and for doom slayer to damage the titan hed need his punches to be the equvilant to 37,000KT of tnt(an atomic bomb). Now imagine the strenght after he became a god and got the suit which has an abilitie where when ever he kills a demon he becames as strong as them, and hes been killing them for 4 billion years. His suit is also strong and a huge factor why chief will lose. His suit wasnt even scrached by vegas meltdown which is 175 times hotter than the sun(that was when his body was weakend). If u didnt know doom guys body is stronger than his suit and his suit is strong enough to survive greater things than vegas meltdown combined with him in his prime(his body with full power, which he is in eternal)hes basiclly semi indestructable.Heres some explanations: 1) The Doomslayer is an argent fiend: Argent Energy is the most extremely powerful source of energy in the Doom universe, so much so humanity sees itself toppled in the attempt to sieze its potential. Argent Energy is what runs the whole Mars facility, it is what turns humans into demons, and it is what powers not only the Preator suit, but the Slayer himself. The Slayer runs at full speed while wielding 700 pounds of weapons, never sleeps, is never tired, and has vastly super-human strength. When consuming an Argent Cell, the surge not only powers up the Praetor suit, but feeds the Slayer himself. We know that the ingame mechanic of Glory Kills yeilding health and ammo are backed by the lore implication that the Slayer feeds off killing the demons. In essence the Doomslayer is the only one who can stop the demonic invasion because he's the only one who is essencially using this incredible power source against the hordes of hell. The Slayer not only has its mark on the surface of its helmet, but carries the two demonic pentagrams in his palms; feeding off Argent while not being converted, the Slayer is essencially a demon (or at least the source of his superhuman power is; so part of him is demonic). Every Argent Cell he consumes, every demon he rips and tears makes him stronger; so it is natural to expect him to be stronger in the sequel, given the events of the first game. 2) The Doomslayer is infinitely more powerful in hell: In the source of its untapped power, Argent energy flows through the air in hell. Being exposed to the hell dimension empowers the Slayer; and the longer he stays, the stronger he becomes; very probably the reason the Slayer was able to single handedly defeat the Titan; after being ages trapped in the hell dimension. Like an unstopabble snowball, and as the narrator tells us in the Slayer's Testament; the Slayer's power grew swift and unrelenting. 3) The Doomslayer was weak during Doom (2016): According to the story, Samuel Hayden only found and excavated the sarcophagus relatively recently compared to when the Slayer was originally buried: "Eons" later to quote it precisely. After being inactive for such a long time, the Slayer in Doom 2016 is basically a wimpy atrophied version of itself, deprived of Argent Energy since before he was buried. Even in this state, he plowed Argent D'Nur and killed the Spider Mastermind only like a day after being woken up. 4) Since Samuel Hayden only knows the power of the Slayer second hand, through scripture; and he was the one who freed him, he is confident in his decision to banish him back to hell. However, the Slayer is sent back fully awake and aware of the enemy (Hayden); he is once again trapped killing through hell until the events of Doom Eternal. In Doom Eternal, which evidently takes place in a far future from Doom 2016, the Argent energy implementation Samuel was looking for is complete; expectedly, something goes wrong and demons start peering through from the hell dimension; meaning there's a portal, or some way these worlds are tethered (probably Argent energy itself); and this is how, presumably, the Slayer comes back. He doesn't come back in a coffin though. He comes back after slaying 24/7 in hell, fury fed and on Argent energy steroids, so much he physically grew taller, stronger, and his Preator suit comes with some demonic-upgrading (Even in software appearently). Basically he just out-grew and out-powered the Preator suit. Like the Hulk and his purple shorts; but with indestructible space demon armour.Plus doom guy brought a dimension to near extinction while chief cant beat the covenant(has control over the galaxy)alone he needs help.Ye chief dead.
Great reaction, but I didn't really like the fight. I ame more a fan of fist fights or magic stuff. The next battle is either Zelda VS Peach or Godzilla VS Gamera if they are gonna release it his week, they said they would. Also congrats on 10K subscribers, you deserved it.
I know, already watched it. But Ris said he is gonna wait to the public release and then watch it. That is why I want to know when it will be released.
That was amazing. I used to play doom on my N64 back in the day and right now I'm grinding through all of the Halos in The Master Chief Collection. I was kinda torn between the two but in the end I would the win to Master Chief.
Now we have to see the Doom Slayer vs Master Chief, and yes Doom Guy and Doom Slayer are completely different people(Doom Slayer was introduced in the 2016 game)
Honestly, I usually agree with the final result of the death battles. But in Doom Guy's Analysis they said that the mega armour can tank fatal plasma blasts . What was with the plasma grenade killing him then? Shouldn't the plasma grenade harm him but not kill him?
That is kind of the thing about this battle, on one side is basically just a normal dude who ran through hell blasting away any demons he came across with basic weapons like old-fashioned shotguns, pistols, and miniguns for the most part. The other side is a genetically-enhanced super-soldier who has greater attributes overall and better equipment. Master Chief is a better soldier but Doomguy is his grandfather and will always be the more badass of the 2.
its not just by the game the shields will regenerate if john isn't hit for a few seconds its in the books also master chief has slapped a anti tank missile out of the air and survived he can dodge bullets and plasma too and go into a heightened sense called spartan time were adrenaline plus his genetic modifications slows down everything to a crawl allowing him to act and react even faster than normal.
So you have a man who can tank rockets from a cyborg super demon, withstand gatling cannon fire from the mechanized Spider Mastermind, outrun rockets, carries an arsenal of weapons puts everything in Halo to shame, and doesn't afraid of anything going against someone who can't handle more than a scant few bullets without his energy shield (which can't stand too many itself), is far slower, has far less potent weaponry, and hasn't even killed a single nazi (hidden levels in Doom 2, look them up). Shame shame Death Battle, shame shame.
So when are Nazis > Than aliens with FAR superior weaponry? Plus Doomguy's armor is much worse than that of Master Chief. Hell his arms are wide open. Halo takes place more in the future resulting in much advanced weaponry than Doom's
Halos weapons all countered Doom Guys, but Doom Guy only had offensive weapons while Master Chief has offensive and defensive. Doomguy also has just guns a steroids, while Master Chief has guns, shields, grenades, invisibility, and a sword. Also the Spartan serum made him much smarter, faster, and stronger.
the same guy who "cant handle more than a scant few bullets" also survived a fall to earth from orbit... and was up and moving just fine a few minutes later
comicking428 Nazis appear in a pair of bonus levels in Doom 2 that are hidden. Most of the time, Doom Guy is slaughtering demons (who have a surprisingly high level of technology for hellspawn) and raiding Hell itself. None of the human tech in the Halo world comes close to that of Doom's, and the alien tech is nowhere near as destructive and damaging. monkeycaboose Chief has a bubble, grenades, and some guns that are quite puny by Doom standards. Doom Guy has invincibility, a chainsaw, and far more potent weapons that he isn't limited to carrying two at a time from his own world, and he should have been given access to weapons he used when he kicked ass in the Quake universe (railgun, Quad Damage, grenade launcher, the gauntlet, etc). linkinator777 Play Halo 1, drop off a high ledge, watch Chief die. Play any Doom game, fall off a high ledge, watch nothing happen. Basing bullet-soaking ability on fall damage is at best lazy if not outright dishonest. A burst of bullets will take down the Chief, as will near any nearby explosion. Zombiemen carry rifles and all they can do is 3-5 damage out of a possible 200 hp (on lower difficulty and with armor, I suspect even less), and even on harder difficulties the rockets from the Cyberdemon take 2 or 3 hits to kill Doom Guy. Sorry chaps, Doom Guy pretty clearly has the speed, durability, and firepower advantages. If looking at gameplay, Chief get's even further outclassed since his in-game speed is far slower than the 50 mph he is stated to be able to run and his damage tanking ability is pretty low.
It's canon that Master Chief is incredibly lucky and in the later games like 3 or 4 I believe it is said that he is THE LAST SPARTAN. Also Cortana picked him out of everyone because of his extreme luck, it's what seperated him from everyone else. IDK I just thought of putting this out there when I heard Ris said something about that fact just being true due to Him (Master Chief) being in a video game.
ok. very happy about the outcome of this but one thing. 12:36 "the energy sword is one of the few weapons he has yet to master. it can actually block bullets" yet to master. see?
indeed. Doomguy never had steroids of any sort as Doomguy never needed anything to be that resistant to damage neither to be that fast or to have infinite stamina (only power ups that rise his health up to 200% are mega health and super charge, but nothing is needed for Doomguy to get to the speed of over 50 mph, where the berserker pack can rise his speed and straferunning make doomguy even faster so, 50mph is the normal running Doomguy always run and can run indefinitely as he never get tired). also he dont need any power up to be that strong either, still with berserker pack he can 1 hit enemies that would need some 3 rockets direct hits to kill. also, Doomguy was just from DOOM 1, DOOM 2, Final DOOM and DOOM 64, where DOOM 3 and the DOOM comics (where the comics arent even from ID software or any of the producers, was fan made) feature other marines (and DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil feature even a different marine that is not the same form DOOM 3) so, yes, screwattack knew nothing of Doomguy and made a lame video.
the Predator Yes I know but, you know syrums are basically something Doomguy never used to have any of his powers? This "syrum" thing came from DOOM movie, where it is not Doomguy but Green Reaper, a normal human that needed a kind of alien-super syrum to get his strength and speed for a period of time. The comparison of strength cant happen as Doomguy game mechanics dont allow him to lift anything (still allow him to punch to death anything at the game) while Master Chief have the novels to back him at this with some values (even if novels < game according to the creators of the game themselves, this give an idea to what is the strength of Master Chief at the game, while Doomguy dont have anything like that at either game or the Doom comic)
in the books it says that John posses luck they explain that by a game of heads and tails they played 3 times and called it right everytime plus the book came before the games so it was clear that john has luck on his side
screw attack: says doomguy is 1.14x faster also screw attack: makes doomguy incredibly slow also screw attack: LET'S PROJECTILES GO THROUGH THE BUBBLE SHIELD
Good reactions. The only thing that I felt was off in Doomguy's favor in the analysis is that the BFG's tracer rounds that are fired happen *after* the detonation of the main plasma ball. I'm not sure if it would make a huge difference but it would definitely wreck havoc on the plasma bubble (with the main shot) and most likely deplete the shields of the suit with the tracers. The plasma bubble, if it doesn't keep Doomguy out on it's own, would kind of provoke close-quarters combat which is what he excels at. Just things to note. Master Chief is still more mobile simply because he can jump while Doomguy can run faster (not by much), jumping isn't exactly something he's known for.
***** but it is a handheld weapon, while plasma Artillery is a building mounted weapon.you should also keep in mind most covenant weapons seen so far are plasma.
Xytan Vadum'ee Possibly, however the power of the BFG *completely* outscales everything else in Doom. It is the only weapon capable of doing 4280 points of damage (if all 40 tracers and the main ball do maximum damage) and the next highest is the Super Shotgun (with perfect RNG on every pellet) with 300 points, followed by the rocket launcher at 288 maximum. Just using the highest numbers to give some sort of idea at the damage difference =) It would require more research, I'm sure, to see if the BFG can really punch through it with guaranteed effect. It wouldn't be as safe as a Plasma Artillery, that's for sure =P
AltimaMantoid VODS I disagree with using in-game damage to decide how powerful a weapon is as it would either be more or less powerful in canon, as for the artillery while the BFG may be more dangerous as it is used in tight quarters where the operator may kill them selves with the blast (if we ignore the fact that you may not take damage from it in game and believe that to be a mechanic to prevent accidental death) the artillery explosion (and initial projectile) is bigger I mean this is just it firing: halo.wikia.com/wiki/File:H2E3Demo_CovenantArtillery.png the explosion will be bigger then that in this video it is seen firing a few times ruclips.net/video/K_y3cbIV-Xg/видео.html recommended starting time for that video is 2:15
The guys At death battle forgot to mention Spartans see things in slow motion when adrenaline kicks in oh and cheif birch slapped a missile with his hand
we need a rematch of doomguy vs master chief...this time only the facts of the LATEST MC (Halo Guardians) and Doomguy (from DOOM) because doomguy in DOOM is like 10x stronger with way better gear and weapons. I mean the mere fact he is totally immune to explosive barrels is one thing they changed. and almost every weapon has two alternate fire modes, beside the standard fire mode.
I wonder if Flynn Taggart from Doom 4 . Have the most chances to defeat Master Chief very easy , Doomguy can rip his heart , rip his mandible , rip his spine , crush his skull and splitt his skull to bits .
How was Chief able to throw a sticky grenade through the bubble shield, you can't shot or throw anything out while inside and he was in the middle of the shield so he didn't get on the very edge of it and throw it, so how did he do it?
When it comes to John (MC) he has luck. That was one of his things. With being the better leader out of the other people in his team. And in his team there where people faster, more powerfull, and better shot them him. But he had better luck them them.
Wiz: "Now that both combatants are set lets end this debate once and for all!" More like: "Lets start a never ending debate once and for all!"
I know right but it's hard to get them to shut up when they nonstop go on rants that the slayer would win
For someone who run 57mph he was moving slow as hell
well he is carrying big ass weapons, idk if wit h our without weapons. but master chief can throw a grenade at 70 mph so
he would be able to throw a sticky pretty fast
Um ok? Not saying that he would be able to dodge him or even win. Just saying he was slow
Super saiyan god super saiyan Mystic super saiyan 4 true
NOEHEAD612 he can carry all weapons in the game and can even still move 57 mph.
EDIT: the only way to survive in Doom is strike first and Dodge literally everything
well he only runs 7 miles faster than chief not including his armor ability in Halo 5 were they everyone Zooms across the map
Your just salty he lost
And you could try and hide yours
CAN WE STOP??
"sighs"
demomanchaos Chief would always win against doom guy.
demomanchaos Chief punched a missile out of the sky...
team those 2 up and that's a good game
Luke Cull but if doom slayer hears the aliens call chief demon bye bye chief
April’s Corner not really bec that would just make no sense, why would a demon help the UNSC you mong
@@adphalen I know doomtuy isn't the smartest but he'd be able to tell the difference between an actual demon a 7ft tall super soilder
i still have a major pet peeve about this battle in that they made doomguy so darn slow in the "battle" where they specificly said that he were fast
A man who can handle rockets from cyborg demons to the face (rockets he can run faster than) vs a man who can be taken out by a only a few bullets. It really makes perfect sense for the obviously weaker and slower one with far less powerful weapons to win.
demomanchaos lol masterchief cant be taken out by a few bullets he has an overshield ya know
demomanchaos he has a shield, guns, invisibility, grenades, and a shield.
Oh, what do you know. lol Cool.
Also, at the beginning of Halo 3, Cortana mentions that Master Chief as one more thing than the other spartans : luck so that's my guess about why they said it.
They dont call him demon they call every sparan (II) demons
I thought they call the Spartans “Demons” because of their visor, which made them look emotionless and empty. Not because they’re actual demons from Hell.
Azurai that’s a nickname.
Dude I loved ur face when u saw the sticky grenade!
No! How do you not know these people?!"
But, as I watched your videos I came to appreciate that because you are unfamiliar with them, I dont have to listen to the common rage we get when we have people who do prefer one over the other and their's loses.
YES! You're finally reacting to this one!
Love ya RisGuy, bee around since you've had 780 subs. I'm glad you know your stuff on halo and doom.
They need a rematch
Sorry for all the comments XD
But wow you are good at predicting these!
There are some more facts about him which are not covered from Screwattack:
His maximum run speed is 819.52 map units / second.
Approximately 32 is equal to one meter (based on Doom guy's height in terms of map units.)
Therefore he runs about 25.61 meters per second, that is equal to about 57.2879 MPH.
DOOMGUY could be the strongest video game character ever.
master cheif survived a nuke just sayin and goku is in a vg
I love how Halo Fans' fallbacks are " he survived a n-n-nuclear blas-s-st and f-f-fell f-from orbit"
Doomguy takes no fall damage.
Hey ris congratulations for over 10,000 subscribers. Only just realised.
also one of the pieces of equipment in halo 3 is invincibility it covers Master Chief in an impenetrable shield for a good ten seconds or more.
I thought it was twenty. But I was playing co-op and my buddy shot me with a Splaser and I used the invincibility power up and I survived.
M Wilmott 9k in the new game
I nearly LOL'd when you started singing along with theme XD But I couldn't because I was singing along too XD
Well remember, master chief shot Doom guy in the leg before he started going slow.
That wouldn't have mattered, his speed never changes for any reason.
Congrats on 10k subs
13:12 my favourite reaction so far.
Congrats on the subscribers Ris
Did you even read what he said?
2:25 hey that's from red vs blue
Don't listen to them! Master Chief would get his ass kicked by Doomguy! (Cuz Doomguy has defeated hell 5 separate times while Master Chief is usually seen with his team! They are right about some things but some stuff you should not listen to!)
Mate chief took on the didact and took a nuke blast and re enterering orbit and just got up to killing and chief is smarter than doomguy so you and your fellow doom fans stfu because he lost to someone who was clearly superior
Ris, do you upload a Death Battle review every Saturday? How does your scheduling work?
Congratulation on 10k and thank god for the bubble shield lol
the bubble shield is BS
Well, even in the halo comics master chief is like a freaking leprechaun with his LUCK.
I do hope they redo this fight soon, both characters have their upgrades and I just hope they do these two characters justice

Master Chief's weapon finding luck has actually been confirmed to be canon from Fall of Reach. Doesn't explain the other FPS games though...
I like how they used an RVB clip for the insurrectionest's footage
I don't know why but I like watching you watch these, keep doing them! :)
you should probably read the book Fall of reach, were it states that the chief is unbelievably lucky by Dr. Halsley and they iterate it throughout. and is restated in the beginning of halo 3 were Cortona even again states that she picked you due to how lucky you were.
Yeah this fight was BS. They underpowered Doomguy, and left out some of Doomguy's stuff and statistics.

If u didnt know doom guys body is stronger than his suit and his suit is strong enough to survive greater things than vegas meltdown combined with him in his prime(his body with full power, which he is in eternal)hes basiclly semi indestructable.Heres some explanations:
1) The Doomslayer is an argent fiend: Argent Energy is the most extremely powerful source of energy in the Doom universe, so much so humanity sees itself toppled in the attempt to sieze its potential.

That was amazing. I used to play doom on my N64 back in the day and right now I'm grinding through all of the Halos in The Master Chief Collection. I was kinda torn between the two but in the end I would the win to Master Chief.
2 red vs blue references, one of em being when boomstick is talking about the Spartan laser, think of o'mally
Now we have to see the Doom Slayer vs Master Chief, and yes Doom Guy and Doom Slayer are completely different people(Doom Slayer was introduced in the 2016 game)
i just realised the insurrection clip is from Red VS Blue
Honestly, I usually agree with the final result of the death battles. But in Doom Guy's Analysis they said that the mega armour can tank fatal plasma blasts . What was with the plasma grenade killing him then? Shouldn't the plasma grenade harm him but not kill him?
Love the videos, keep it up.
It's here... it's *FINALLY* here "bows" at 13:18 's fanboy face xD
its not just by the game the shields will regenerate if john isn't hit for a few seconds its in the books also master chief has slapped a anti tank missile out of the air and survived he can dodge bullets and plasma too and go into a heightened sense called spartan time were adrenaline plus his genetic modifications slows down everything to a crawl allowing him to act and react even faster than normal.
Peach vs Zelda next whenever Godzilla vs Gamera comes....?
Did you thought about coment Epic Rap Battles of the History? I mean while you wait for more death battles
Shame shame Death Battle, shame shame.
the fanboy is strong in this one.
They should do a rematch!
8:52 Let's be honest Ris, everyone that enters this arena is insane to some degree.
I'm pretty sure the prequal is called HALO : Reach
ok. very happy about the outcome of this but one thing. 12:36 "the energy sword is one of the few weapons he has yet to master. it can actually block bullets" yet to master. see?

Austin Hourigan: this battle MAKES NO GOSH D*MN SENSE!
Next is Godzilla vs Gamera and I already know who the winner of that is
Goddziilllllaaaaaaaaa aaaaahhhhh
indeed. Doomguy never had steroids of any sort as Doomguy never needed anything to be that resistant to damage neither to be that fast or to have infinite stamina (only power ups that rise his health up to 200% are mega health and super charge, but nothing is needed for Doomguy to get to the speed of over 50 mph, where the berserker pack can rise his speed and straferunning make doomguy even faster so, 50mph is the normal running Doomguy always run and can run indefinitely as he never get tired). also he dont need any power up to be that strong either, still with berserker pack he can 1 hit enemies that would need some 3 rockets direct hits to kill.
also, Doomguy was just from DOOM 1, DOOM 2, Final DOOM and DOOM 64, where DOOM 3 and the DOOM comics (where the comics arent even from ID software or any of the producers, was fan made) feature other marines (and DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil feature even a different marine that is not the same form DOOM 3)
so, yes, screwattack knew nothing of Doomguy and made a lame video.
the Predator
Yes I know but, you know syrums are basically something Doomguy never used to have any of his powers? This "syrum" thing came from DOOM movie, where it is not Doomguy but Green Reaper, a normal human that needed a kind of alien-super syrum to get his strength and speed for a period of time.
The comparison of strength cant happen as Doomguy game mechanics dont allow him to lift anything (still allow him to punch to death anything at the game) while Master Chief have the novels to back him at this with some values (even if novels < game according to the creators of the game themselves, this give an idea to what is the strength of Master Chief at the game, while Doomguy dont have anything like that at either game or the Doom comic)
Doom 2016=insta kill.
Now doom 4 is here update plz?
in the books it says that John posses luck they explain that by a game of heads and tails they played 3 times and called it right everytime plus the book came before the games so it was clear that john has luck on his side
the unmaker isn't completely useless to nondemonic things but takes more shots
Even though I'm not a big fan of warfare type games

screw attack: says doomguy is 1.14x faster
also screw attack: makes doomguy incredibly slow
also screw attack: LET'S PROJECTILES GO THROUGH THE BUBBLE SHIELD
Also congrats on 10,000 subscribers :D
AltimaMantoid VODS i know am very late but the BFG most likely cannot take down a bubble shield as it takes plasma Artillery to take it down.
Xytan Vadum'ee The BFG is fueled by plasma cells
AltimaMantoid VODS I disagree with using in-game damage to decide how powerful a weapon is as it would either be more or less powerful in canon, as for the artillery while the BFG may be more dangerous as it is used in tight quarters where the operator may kill them selves with the blast (if we ignore the fact that you may not take damage from it in game and believe that to be a mechanic to prevent accidental death) the artillery explosion (and initial projectile) is bigger I mean this is just it firing:
halo.wikia.com/wiki/File:H2E3Demo_CovenantArtillery.png
the explosion will be bigger then that
in this video it is seen firing a few times
ruclips.net/video/K_y3cbIV-Xg/видео.html
recommended starting time for that video is 2:15
Now with the reconnect doom 2016 lore.... well, let's just say it's not a debate
The guys At death battle forgot to mention Spartans see things in slow motion when adrenaline kicks in oh and cheif birch slapped a missile with his hand
Yeah I thought the same.
the inserection scene is from red vs blue season 9
Ris, if you ever wanna play DOOM, I will challenge you any day!
I wish they remastered this match. I like to see them in 3D.
the prequel your talking about is halo reach btw
I agree with the outcome, but maybe more people would accept the outcome if they'd used Armor Lock instead of the bubble shield
finding useful stuff near by? hey, I have that skill : DD
we need a rematch of doomguy vs master chief...this time only the facts of the LATEST MC (Halo Guardians) and Doomguy (from DOOM) because doomguy in DOOM is like 10x stronger with way better gear and weapons.
Shao Kahn vs M. Bison next? Please
I'm watching them in order, but every weekend we're getting closer!
sorry boomstick he did have a scratch see the scar on his chest plate that was from the fall
Great video! I liked this episode
doom guy at the end. is there a hissing spider on me?
No that is the sound of dying Halo fans.
How was Chief able to throw a sticky grenade through the bubble shield, you can't shot or throw anything out while inside and he was in the middle of the shield so he didn't get on the very edge of it and throw it, so how did he do it?
Stick your hand out
Edward Arroyo You can walk out really quick and throw the grenade.
Edward Arroyo While a bubble shield is forming with quick reflexes you can get a grenade out.
Edward Arroyo you can just move a bit out and throw it, usually works for me
Stick your hand out
That's how
Doom guy is strong
I screamed out of joy when Chief pulled out the bubble shield. :D
In this or the real video?
i was waiting for this
7:20 Nah the Doctor doesn't make weapons :3
WHOA. WHOA. WAIT A SEC.
They said that Doom Guy had survived multiple deadly plasma hits before. So wouldn't he survive the plasma grenade?
Plazma grenade > 10+ Plazma blasts
(2016 doom watches this) “HA! I rip demons in half with my bare hands.”
When it comes to John (MC) he has luck. That was one of his things. With being the better leader out of the other people in his team. And in his team there where people faster, more powerfull, and better shot them him. But he had better luck them them.
