@@MindYourMoney I was upgraded to the Venture card a few months ago. I really like that I can see how many miles I have after every purchase. That card I use for my Amazon, eating out for example bc I get more points for those.
Hi 👋. Question , in every saving account you open wether it was for amazon, vacation, new cloth and so on and so on did you get a different account number every time ?????? Or are they just buckets for you to distribute your funds where you want them. Thanks
hi! The term refers to a short term savings for an expense that either doesn't happen regularly or only happens once a year. Most people have a "car sinking fund" to help with regular maintenance and repairs. Because they "sink away" almost as quickly as they are built up.
Q; I just opened an account prior to seeing your video. I am confused with how I am supposed to access my new account via my debit card. I was looking to have a checking for Bills and one for Everyday use. However it gave me a brief notice after opening the account that I can go in and choose the default account online for the card. So does that me every time I need to use my card now I have prelog in and choose the alternate account when I need it. Truly makes no sense the way they wrote the statement.
The debit card is issued for one Checking account with Capital One. If you need to access money from a secondary checking account, you'll need to transfer the funds to your primary account (where the debit card is connected). I hope that helps.
@@MindYourMoney For the interest rate savings, does having money in multiple different savings account give you less interest/based on the individual account amount, or does it calculate it based on total money in all savings accounts/categories?
@@KaitWilliamson the interest accrues on each account individually. Right now (June 2022) the interest rate for Capital One checking accounts are 0.10% For most savings accounts the APY is 1.00%

you can use Zelle or simply add the account routing and account number to your capital one settings.

You may be able to open one, but I don't think they have all of the same features as in U.S.A.

No, not for the savings account. Only one card is issued for the checking account.
When you open up the accounts how long did it take you to get the debit card ?
The debit card comes with the checking account only, and it takes about 7-10 days to arrive in the mail.
