Just signed up so tired of Wells Fargo shuffling my transactions over the weekend in the order they want to process them so they can get overdraft fees out of me! Hope this works better!
I love this account I have had it for over two years .. let's say you accidentally overdraft the account they will give you 24 hours to fix it .. no od fee etc or you can just make transactions decline instead of OD your account.. (this won't stop ach payments just debit card transaction)

So that if you go buy something it will take it out of the account you last chose. Now if you open a credit line account (where you buy something, you will owe interest if you carry a balance) then that is different. They will give you another card to access only your credit account. That is a credit card, not a debit card. If you have a partner and add them as a co-owner or joint holder of the account then they will also get their own debit card in their name.

Correct. My other bank has my direct deposits two days in advance. Capital One should get with the program. If other banks can receive direct deposits two days early Capital One should be able to do it also. Very disappointed.

Well with Capital One you can't even log in to your account as many times as you want in a day because at some point you will get a message saying you have maxed out of your log in limit try again in 24 hours. Maybe for this reason alone I should stay with Chase Bank and forget about Capital One banking.

@@CityChristina Some people like to stick with one bank. Then, they also may one one checking account where all of their deposits go and where their spending money is while the other checking account may be used for paying bills. That is one of my guesses.

One account is to pay bills, another for recreational stuff, another for pet expenses. etc. Multiple savings accounts too for different types of savings. one for an emergency fund for example. I have a bunch of accounts for different things, including business.
I had a car loan with Capital One, I have a credit card with them and checking and savings accounts and have had to call them for various things. Always a really great experience and they worked with me very reasonably during covid when I had to defer a couple payments. No complaints here
