i never thought tekken made really well sword character, feel like every wide swing hit hit like a truck while leaving the feeling of wide attack wider punishment

Insane defens from yoshi
He is the best for a reason!
Defense is the number one ability to improve as yoshi. Especially in Tekken 7 you had to get good at it if you wanted to win something with Yoshimitsu. If you block 10 attacks in a row the mentalframes if the enemy start kicking in and you can do all the dumb shit that needs a thousand frames to hit. These matches were a perfect example for that although yoshi in Tekken 8 has such good tools you can't compare to his past self

All my life, Tekken has never been good. It only has good fans. But the game itself, wack. It has always been too slow for the hardware it runs on.
Unpopular opinion but I come from Soul Calibur and the Tekken games…..are trash. Overrated asf
