It’s sad that our culture tells us that we are our attractions. I believed the lie that I was my sexuality and nothing more for a long time. Our sexuality is a part of us, but it’s not our whole being. I no longer think of my identity or even attractions as bisexual. My attractions to other men is not who I am, my relationship with Christ is who I am. Good video bro.

I’m 100# positive I love and believe in Jesus Christ as my savior yet I struggle being a same sex attracted man all my life ! I am trying to figure it out but seeing you at such a young adult age with conviction to live for God out loud and proud is pretty awesome Glory to God amen

Ahead, Manny! You’re paving the way for confidence in God, for insight, for deeper (and better) discussion.
I am more convinced by the day that the whole idea of "homosexuality" goes hand in hand with the whole vocabulary of modernity, in its most "artificial" constructions. A complex and simple issue at the same time, I truly hope we can reflect more and more, clarify, enlighten.
But this can come from our confidence in God, and a life of prayer and in God's presence, not by mere human effort.

Hopefully waiting for Emmanuel's reply, personally I’d say this is interconnected with how we do look at the concept of "sexual attraction", and how one sees (in general) his vocation. As a general rule, I think a distinction between lust and a generic idea of "same sex attraction" (which needs to be scrutinized) is a necessary path of discernment. Chiefly to dismember what implicitly this "gay" culture has conflated together, to develop a clearer vision on the matters at hand. As an example, if a person was not called to wedding or setting up a family as his/her vocation, would it make sense to look at the question from that angle? In this case, what needs to be healed and/or sanctified, is the derangement in terms of lust and "conjured" images. God bless.
